I mean, he would call the same thing that we always got to experience on 3rd and 4 or 3rd and 5, right? Zone read left, gain of maybe three yards.

The question would be  this - would he open up the playbook a bit and try a short wheel route on 4th and, say, 89? Would he dare to dream?

According to Wikipedia they've only hosted a BCS-conference school one other time since their stadium went up in '68--they played Miss State in '08 too. Before that you have to go back to '53 when they played Florida State...which doesn't exactly count, because FSU was just six years removed from being the Florida State College for Women.

They've played people in Shreveport--the stadium there is about twice as big. But in Ruston it's just been those two games.

LA Tech had driven to the Mississippi State 2. QB got sacked on fourth and goal and the fumble was scooped and run back 90 yards for a TD.

There were also three blocked extra points in the game, and one of those was run back for a score.

What a weird game.
