This will be the snowflake thread for the thoughts on our offense in the game versus Cincinnati.

Red zone offense is attrocious and I see little of the creativity in play calling that we've seen the last two years. Speight also seems to have less of a grasp on the offense than he did last year, which makes no sense.

if I was the only one wondering if he was regressing. It just seems like the more we see of him on the field the worse he looks.  The playcalling didnt help much today, but Wilton is supposed to be one of the more experienced players on the offense, not one of the ones making just as many mistakes as the younger guys.  At one point I screamed "YOURE THE QUARTERBACK VERSION OF BENJAMIN BUTTON" at my TV. It scared my dog, and she peed on the rug (shes 14). Now I feel bad, and I have dog pee on the rug

Turrible.  But for the fact that we seem to have a true feature back now, I thought it looked pretty suspect today.  Speght had Tacopants + bad decision-making problems today.  Can't throw for a yard or two on third and long.

He stumbles on the drop back, can't hand off the ball and most of his throws were off target and wobly. Just doesn't look the part of a QB. In addition, he makes bad decisions and locks into one receiver way too often.

need a houma type full back.

need a real top shelf running back.  isaac is decent but not a feature back.

WRs and TEs are all young.

something is wrong with speights throwing arm - no touch at all/has to over power the throws and sails them.

line needs to play better.  RT is weak.  RG is decent but needs improvement.

after a game in which he looked really, really good.  Every bit the part of a top shelf running back.  Showed speed, vision, power, the ability to bounce quickly for a big man.

I would have agreed with that comment a lot more before the season, before Isaac actually has looked top shelf.  I didn't buy last week as a thing but after this week, that might be a thing.

I feel like Drevno needs to get out of the booth and back to the sideline like I'm pretty sure he was last year. He should be coaching these guys every time the defense is on the field.
