If there's a booster or some employee that is using something like this to leverage a move against Kelly, then they are pretty much just as bad as Kelly for sitting on this information and only coming out with it now.  

Thought the same thing.  BK is an angry little purple elf scumbag.  That said, this coupled with the recent lawsuit filed by the former injured player suggests some other forces at work here trying to oust Kelly.

I don't mind any machinations behind trying to take down such a douchebag, but let's also remember that the same powers stood behind this asshole after the rape-suicide cover up and the cameraman falling to his death due to windy conditions during practice - because ND was winning football games.

The guy deserves nothing but the worst, but those behind the palace intrigue facilitating the coup are anything but honorable whistle blowers - they just want to win more football games and are willing to leverage moral outrage to eliminate BK.

And TBH and taking of the maize and blue sunglasses...if Michigan was competing for national titles and all was running smoothly when Shane Morris concussion-gate broke, I'm sure may of us would have all been much more forgiving of Hoke and Brandon and full of rationalization and apologetics.  The fact that we sucked at football simultaneously to that particular player injury mismanagment, made the revolt that much easier to incite.

In that case, the university police basically covered it up after a cursory investigation (that didnt' even include interviewing the assailant, Prince Shembo) and the victim eventually committed suicide. Shembo was eventually internally disciplined about a week AFTER the suicide, but it was basically a slap on the wrist. 

I know it's a rhetorical question, but if you're looking for a "how-to" on paying morally-bankrupt coaches a shit-ton of money at a religious school, you might ask Baylor about the Art Briles saga.
