Is it just me, or is EDSBS pretty much backing off everything but snarky parody posts and the Fullcast? Ryan Nanni isn't doing Wake Up College Football this year, they jettisoned TWIS, and content seems a bit slower than usual.

Yeah, this is just an aggregate of not even funny quotes. TWIS only works if the author (aggregator) adds their own commentary to string it together. The commentary here is too brief with no wit or snark. Plus he says "BUTTGERS" not once, but twice. Most of his commentary is either "deal with it" or "hahahaha".

While the recent reincarnation of mgoTWIS also lacks witty commentary, at least UMProud has aggregated the funny quotes. This OTE version includes quotes like "They are running through us right now." Disappointed.

Yeah, this is... not good.

It's the commentary on the tweets/board posts and the ability to put together complimentary thoughts that made TWIS what it was. I miss Brian's TWIS.

Also they misspelled schadenfreude at the very top of the page. Whoops.

You need to be mean and/or funny to write this and I don't think the writer is enough of either. It's just kind of meh. The "It's meltdown time" is basically the same thing but funnier.

I checked out the RCMB Michigan vs Florida open thread on Saturday and there was some gold in that thread. A lot of Spartan fans really pissed that rolls are reversed and we have the dominate lines. One guy was pissed we have Chris Evans. Even asking if he was the recruit that MSU slow played. They absolutely hate that Michigan is back and it's beautiful.

what did the coaching staff do this offseason? outside of building a night club locker room and hiring a social media dude

Now, now...it is Texas. Rest assured they took care of the important stuff first, like the locker room, social media and probably a new driving range aimed at the athletic administration building.
