Don Brown for President. Greg Mattison for Vice President.
Brown/Mattison 2020.
No politics? No schmolitics.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:15 PM ^
are needed here and are coaching right where they belong. Awesome job by everyone on the Defense today and most impressive considering the youth involved.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:21 PM ^
Schmolitics was my favorite course in college. Where do go I now to discuss Schmolitics?
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:27 PM ^
Not OSU.

Florida was severly handicapped in both of those contests, Doug Nussmeier was and remains the Florida OC.
September 2nd, 2017 at 11:10 PM ^
If this ain't "anti-Borges," I don't know what is.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:12 PM ^
No shark humpers on our staff. It played out how I thought minus the pick sixes. Our coaching is way way ahead of theirs and it showed.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:30 PM ^
I'd like to see more spread formations.
Also I mentioned this in the offense thread, but the red zone FG/TD ratio worries me for down the road.
Also, all those burned redshirts vs Hawaii last year don't seem so puzzling now...
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:13 PM ^
Run run pass. Run run run. Run run pass.
I'd be amazed if there were many RPS+ plays in the UFR this week.
September 2nd, 2017 at 8:55 PM ^
The long TD to black was a big RPS win. Also, Speight to Black sounds like a Rolling Stones song.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:14 PM ^
Harbaugh only brought his sizzle today. /s
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:14 PM ^
Can we have a "General" snowflakes?
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:52 PM ^
I will think about it - this is an ever-evolving system and although my attempts to get input on these theads typically never get more than scattershot commentary, this might be something that is worth consideration. We did it a bit last year with threads but we can throw one out there next week.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:55 PM ^
Just double the "coaching" thread as a general snowflakes thread
September 2nd, 2017 at 8:10 PM ^
No, because Title IX would require "Admiral" snowflakes in equal numbers.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:14 PM ^
Just dominated them.
Not really a close match.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:15 PM ^
The team played much better in the 2nd half. The secondary doesn't look like much of a concern and the offensive line was better than I expected. Some problems with Ulizio and Speight still a little inconsistent are the only two negatives.

SHARK BAIT HOO HA HA!
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:20 PM ^
Gonna miss this.
Enjoy, SEC.

Go Blue!

He a shark-jumper, not a shark-jumper.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:58 PM ^
"He a shark-jumper, not a shark-jumper."
I see what you're trying to do there.
September 3rd, 2017 at 12:45 AM ^
Is it Jump their cartiledge when we talk sharks?
September 2nd, 2017 at 8:49 PM ^
I promise you that will not be the last time.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:15 PM ^
the announcers were fine, but it was the replay booth that was terrible. there were a number of penalties and some great catches (some by gators) that sure would've been nice to have another look at to see if they were legit. for example, the one where our punt team got called (#33?) for false start, but the FL guy looked like he was across, off sides.
glad for the win, nail biter of course for all of us for a while. go blue!
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:45 PM ^
+1, the broadcast direction sucked. One of the announcers (couldn't tell which) saying "Donny Brown" over and over also drove me crazy. Even if his friends call him that, the guy is Don Brown to me. It was like hearing a broadcaster talk about "Tommy Brady."
September 2nd, 2017 at 8:14 PM ^
Agreed. Donny Brown sounds stupid. Also, dumb is when people on here say Wisky instead of Wisconsin. Just a pet peeve of mine. It's barely shorter and there is no fucking K in it.
September 2nd, 2017 at 8:26 PM ^
Donny Brown, we would have a very young one who we would have for many more years.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:16 PM ^
A little too much "run Evans up the middle" and that one punt from the wrong side of the field, but overall our coaches were a million times better than their coaches, so can't complain too much.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:16 PM ^
I liked pulling Speight for two series. He came back dialed in and his only big mistake after was long-balling Crawford on what should have been an easy TD.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:20 PM ^
He had several overthrown balls in the 2nd half. The missed TD is unacceptable and is holding this team back from being a Playoff contender. It's time to get that fixed. If he can't make that throw...he can't play here.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:24 PM ^
I think Speight is just a guy and will never be more than just a guy but it's obvious that he's the best qb on the roster or Peters/O Korn would be playing.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:26 PM ^
I'd totally agree with you. OKorn is a better player. Harbaugh doesn't play his best players. Politics are real and applied at the QB position for one. Doesn't stop there.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:28 PM ^
Sure, I see that. One of the most competitive people on the planet intentionally tries not to win. Checks out.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:30 PM ^
lol wut
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:37 PM ^
otherwise it's just weirdly resentful twaddle on the internet, and deserves all the negativity it will arouse.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:40 PM ^
This is probably the stupidest post I've ever seen.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:42 PM ^
Got a little too confident after that previous post.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:42 PM ^
I hope he keeps working and doing good things but comments like this make you sound very salty. Long season left...
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:49 PM ^
Yeah sounds like MichiganMan14 is salty that Higdon isn't getting more time. Isaac and Evans are better than Higdon. Higdon brings something very good to the team but you seem way salty. Running back is not the issue on this team.
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:45 PM ^
Explain please, MichiganMan14
September 2nd, 2017 at 7:52 PM ^
For all of Speight's inconsistencies, he's always looked better than O'Korn. O'Korn's performance against IU was Sheridanesque.
September 2nd, 2017 at 8:06 PM ^
I'm sure Karan is very pleased that you have shared this with the internet.
September 2nd, 2017 at 8:17 PM ^
Holy dumbass Batman! This is top 10 stupid hot take.
September 2nd, 2017 at 9:07 PM ^
TO THE BATMOBILE!!!
September 2nd, 2017 at 9:13 PM ^
Please tell us you were joking. And if not, that Higdon didn't tell you that.
Either way, it's be the biggest pile of crap I've heard, and demand you have some fucking perspective. What you may view as "politics" are mind games to get the players to play their best. And Harbaugh is the master.
September 2nd, 2017 at 9:43 PM ^
True or not, I think you shouldn't say things like that for Karan's sake.
