I'm really really concerned about the play calling. It's like we're playing to our weaknesses

Where are all the quick passed designed to get fast guys in space against linebackers?

Instead, we run straight at Florida's good defensive line. This reminds me of late last season. I ALREADY have PTSD...

Tough to pinpoint blame though if play-calling is like last year where though Drevno was making most calls, Fisch and Harbaugh contributed.

Which calls in the 1st half were Drevno's? Which were Hamilton's? What type of input did Harbaugh have?

Either way, whoever made the 3rd down play call that put Isaac in motion and split him out wide has earned every bit of criticism fans want to throw at him.

Early in half, running backs seemed to be running more downhill and accelerating into the line. Could be because holes open more consistently, but in 2nd quarter, RBs seemed much less aggressive going into the line.

Defense looks good. O-line shuffles continuing. I think we need Speight and his pocket presence. More Isaac and try a little Walker.

Bash the gator mothers and mix in some deep passes.

Frustrating game to watch.

We need to calm down. For godsakes, OSU was losing to Indiana on Thursday. Let the coaches make adjustments and we're back in this thing. I trust our coaching staff to adjust and win the game. Also, only one of those picks were on Speight. I think other than that pick six he has been great.

He had one bad drop that led to the pick 6. He also had a TD that would've left the game tied.

If the refs don't shit the bed on that call, it's 17-17 and he's got a TD and you're not making this comment. So basically he's got a bad game in your eyes because a blown call by the refs?

If the offense takes care of the ball this should still end up a win.

The offense has to be a lot better. The playcalling is too predictable, running up the middle isn't working and keeps leading to 3rd and long, they have to mix it up more in the 2nd half. Speight still has no touch on his passes and is launching everything high.

The defense is playing very well but hopefully they can force a couple turnovers and help out the offense a little more.

Too much off tackle and then go deep. Why at 3rd and 7 are we always going downfield 25+ yards? Get first downs with NO PERSONAL FOULS. If you don't get the first down, punt (but not with Hart) and let the defense win this game. Florida had like 80 yards total offense on 2 broken plays. DEFENSE wins this game in second half if we want it.

We are the better team and look like the better team.  Let's calm it down a bit and go out and do what we do.  We will win this game as long as we take care of the ball.  I don't think Florida will have much success with their offense.  I am comfortable here at halftime knowing we will come out and take full control and win by double digits.

the good news is, I still don't know what targeting is and that's exactly the amount of knowledge about this rule that the refs have.

the bad news is, I know more about eligible receivers than the refs.

In all seriousness, this targeting shit and ref incompetence really take away the enjoyment of the game. no one knows what the fuck is going on ON THE FIELD let alone me at home. This isn't PI - those are judgement calls made in a split-second decision by the refs. These jokes in zebra print out there today have to have a convo 6 times a quarter and they still don't know wtf the right calls are.

The game is still up for grabs. This I where Harbaugh needs to show up. I feel like Meyer or Saban would win this thing.
