True story: At the time, I had not seen any of the Tori episodes. I had, however, seen episodes where Tori Spelling guest starred. I never quite understood why a series regular (who was referred to her by her character name) was being compared to someone who only showed up in a few episodes (referred to her by her actual name). Years later I saw some Tori episodes and was illiuminated in the warm glow of an epiphany.

He was totally prepared, as any quarterback would be for a game. He was totally ready. Had all his lines down.
Now this sounds like Jim Harbaugh - I can't imagine him having done anything less than preparing for a cameo on a comedy like he would for a football game.
