McCann just got beaned, too. You could hear it hit helmet over the radio.

A few guys are going to sit down for a few days, and some checkbooks are going to be a bit lighter.

This is a shitshow.

Dislike this Tigers team. There's nothing to enjoy about them anymore.

Miggy's about done, or close to it. JV's not going to be around much longer. Who else do they have that honestly is fun or exciting to watch outside of Fulmer?

A little perspective for you Uncle Leo--Even if Miggy has this same bad year 5 more times in a row he will end up with close to 600 HR, 2000 RBI, and 3300 hits. Those are crazy 1st ballot HOF numbers. That being said, it's okay if he has a bad year. Hardly anyone goes through a career without one. I'm with you on not watching this team but I just think it's important to keep perspective when it comes to one of the greatest hitters the game has ever seen.

Austin Romine (who happens to be Andrew's brother) was catching for NYY -- Sanchez was DHing before the fracas.

EDIT: Watched the video again and Sanchez definitely threw some sucker punches there.  What a punk.

Not sure if anyone saw #24 from the Yankees, back-up catcher...dude was throwing multiple punches while one of our guys was being held down.  Possibly McCann.  I can't believe they didn't eject him.

by Fulmer the inning before that and thought it was on purpose (it did not look like it was on purpose, though).

The league office will get a good look at this one. Suspensions and fines are forthcoming.....

I'm not a Yank fan but they are in a pennant race, wildcard at the least, they need to get their shit together before they finish the season out starting their AAA team. #24 on Yanks needs to sit for a few games, hope the league office eyeballs that scrum.

Good news fans, the Tigers are showing signs of life for the first time in months! As a matter of fact they appear to be beating the crap out of each other.
