Whoa! That was a straight up sucker punch. As a man and a teammate, you gotta be better than that. Fight happen, but that was pretty shitty.

That exemplifies the character or lack there of Frank Clark has. Not much. Guys that threw punches such as those always got stomped. There is no way in hell I would let that go and after the age of fifty you are allowed to cheat. Of course emptying five magazines from your AR into someones house and then setting it on fire may be going overboard. LOL.

That was as much a "fight" as when Glenn Winston "fought" AJ Sturges.  A total coward move to sucker punch someone - and in keeping, on a character front, with Clark's history of domestic violence.

Clark has been an embarrassment to Michigan, to his family, and to himself.  I hope he's able to pull his head out of his ass, and capitalize on his talent.  In the meantime, I'll just wait for Pete Carroll to do the right thing ... .

I agree whole heartedly, and almost said this same comment on yesterdays "Wolverines in the NFL" thread. I don't care or want any Frank Clark updates. That dude got kicked off our team for domestic violence and we should not claim him as one of us

I like the way Frank plays the game, always have.  He obviously has some serious anger management issues (shocking he plays a sport where you violenty hit other men for a living), but in the Hoke era where guys like Funchess coasted through games, Frank played his ass off every snap for Michigan.

I'm not saying he's a great person, and he's made a number of mistakes, but if I need to win a football game, I will take guys like him and Lewan all day on my team.

Practice fights happen all the time in training camp. I won't make excuses for his domestic violence incidents, but to crucify him for this is ridiculous. Give me a guy with passion who pushes the limit over a guy who doesn't care any day.

also, the guy he punched is a known instigator. No stories on what he has done or been doing over the preseason, or prior seasons. He's listed as one of the worst guards in the league last season, and one of the most penalized. Sucker punch isnt right...but jesus christ, I'd love to buy some property on that high horse so many of you seem to reside on.

punches are the worst thing ever.  Not that fighting is ever particularly wise, but sucker punches never settle anything and can really, really hurt somebody permanently.

I don't understand it to this day. Clark hit Braxton as hard as I've ever seen anyone get hit in the game of football (save maybe the Clowney hit). He had a full head of steam and no one stood in Clark's way. It was like hitting a stationary tackling dummy. Somehow Miller found a way to hold onto the ball and come right back on the next series like nothing ever happened.

That kid is a fucking cyborg. He got pummeled over and over and over throughout his career at OSU and somehow kept getting right back up. I remember when they played Purdue in Meyer's first season he got hit so hard he had to get taken out of the stadium in an ambulance. A lot of people wondered if he'd play at all for the rest of the season, or even the following year. Dude came back the following week like nothing ever happened.

I hope he takes great care of himself, because with how much he got hit in his five years at OSU it wouldn't surprise me if his body just gave out on him later in life.

Why is it that some people make such poor decisions?   What does he have to gain by that?   Does he have permanent roid rage, or is he just dumb?

“What did Ricky do to you, anyway?”

“Tijuana! He did Tijuana to me! Oh, we were having ourselves a fine old time, down Mexico way. Then, out of the blue, Ricky jumped me and left me stranded! With no I.D., I was stuck in TJ for six months! I had to work as the squeegee boy at a donkey show. Every night, watching a different girl sleep with the donkey I loved.”

The article talked about how Clark was remorseful and how he promised he'd "never go there again." Sorry Clark, but given your history and repeated incidents, if you gave me your word and a dollar to go with it, I'd say that will get me no more than a cup of coffee.

I halfway expect the next time we hear about him will be a story about him cold-cocking a guy in the middle of a football game and getting suspended. The guy has talent but he's got issues.

Frank Clark is just such a douchebag. Glad we kicked him off our team and out of our school. Im sure he'll do something incredibly stupid, he is Frank Clark afterall, again and be facing some suspensions sooner rather than later.

for the next one after someone from MSU or OSU does something thuggish. Inevitably people chime in to chastise us for being hypocritical. "We'd be defending him if he went to Michigan" and other such crap.

"This is horrible, unacceptable, pure garbage and won't be tolerated by anyo....eh hem....anyone on the DLine with less than 47 tackles, 10 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles." - Pete Carroll
