$50 off $100 purchase at MGoBlueShop (plus additional 50% off Clearance)

Submitted by MH20 on

Just got an email from MGoBlueShop that they're having a huge Tax Day sale. As noted in the title, 50% off clearance items and $50 off a purchase of $100 (I assume pre-tax). Promo code is TAX25. Definitely some nice stuff out there, I myself am going to get a hockey jersey.

Quick question: For those with hockey jerseys: how do they fit relative to football jerseys? I bought a 50 (L) Adidas football jersey that is slightly too baggy for me (a 48 M would be perfect), and I'm not sure between a M and L for hockey. Thanks!

I also got an email from the MDen this morning:

Select Authentic Jerseys - Regularly $150 will be $99
Select Premier Jerseys - Regularly $75 will be $54.88
Select Replica Jerseys - Regularly $60 will be $38.88

So if you're in the market for an authentic jersey, the MDen has virtually the same deal (except you save an extra dollar!).

The site is painfully slow. Thanks for the heads up OP. Even though I would rather buy my gear at MDen or Underground Printing and keep the money local, the MGOBLUE Shop had a shirt I can't find anywhere else and it was 66% off.

It is the Maize Basketball Shooting Shirt. It is in the clearance area. Just to let you know since the site is so slow it only had XL & XXL left.

My friend has the shirt and it is great quality and used to be $65. I got it for only $28.

Hockey jerseys tend to run big. I have a men's small, and my bf (who normally wears a shirt size L or XL) could probably wear it if the sleeves were a little longer. It sounds like you should be good with a medium.

been able to get the promo code to work? I slooowly got to the end but when I enter the promo code and click "apply" it just takes me back to the main page and doesn't apply any discount...

Same thing happens to me when I try and log in to my account (I've made a purchase their before during one of their sales). Looks like MGoBlogers have overwhelmed the site.

Picked up 4 t-shirts, an expensive hoody, a shooting shirt, a hat, a denard jersey, a shirt for the wife, and a hooded towel for the baby on the way in a month. All for about $75 shipped. I wish I would have seen the free items so I could have ordered 1000 and screwed Jerry Jones just a little more. Great deals here though.

The site is really slow, but don't get impatient and click away. At one point, I had 5 jerseys in my cart and had to refresh the amounts (which took forever). You have to put the code in right when you are done and ready to checkout. Adding anything will cause it to delete the coupon code. Go to the next screen after you add this in and it will show the discount.

The site is still going a bit slow, but it wont register when I click add to cart.

Btw awesome headsup, $5 hats and $8 tees ftw. If only the site would stop teasing me with these great deals. If this was April 1st I might be suspicious :)

This site is frustrating as hell. I created an account, then it signed me out, but then it wouldn't let me sign back in. So, I'm checking out as a guest. Now, when filling out my shipping information, the "state" tab won't load, so I can't select a state. I've got 14 items in my basket for around $60 shipped.

EDIT: well, it just booted me, so I have to start the checkout process all over again.

I'll never understand why they need the State, City, AND zip. Seems like the zip should take care of all of that.

Or you could just save the time on their out of state website and save 15% on all purchases at the MGoBlogStore through April. (Just saw the ad to the side). Thus supporting the blog, the shop, and now, Moe's.

I'm at 45 mins and counting of just trying to get my shopping cart to show back up so I can check out. I am guessing I'm never going to see any of this stuff, but than again, does one really need a matching set (maize, blue, and white) of hockey sweaters?!

Wow, just spent past 2 hours navigating that site and trying to pick items and deal with checkout, but just as Cartman says at the end of the Casa Bonita episode if his whole stunt was worth it, "Totally."

I'm 5'11'' and 190ish, and I got a Medium Jersey. I can wear just it, but it will also fit over a sweatshirt, and it's a Maize jersey. Perfect for November Football Games

If they sent out a mass email, then everyone who got it, plus whoever they shared it with, are also hitting that site and bringing it to its knees.

It is now 2:02pm and I am finally in the last stages of checkout.

Edit: Anyone else get stuck on the payment page where it doesn't do anything when you click the Continue" button? I'm afraid to hit it again for fear it will charge me twice.
