3 Football Questions

Submitted by xtramelanin on

Mates,

Getting closer to actual toe-meets-leather.  Summer feels like its on the way out.   Three football questions for you:

1.  Which teams make the CFP?

2.  Which team is national champ?

3.  How many Michigan games will you attend this year, whether at the Big House or on the road?

Are those your seedings as well? If so we'd see an o$u - oklahoma rematch in the first round.

As for me I'll go with the usual suspects. Alabama, o$u, Clemson and I'll toss u$c in there as well. They got off to a rocky start last year but they turned it up to finish out the season. I think I'll continue into this season. No way in hell Washington duplicates what they did last year.

Alabama - Clemson in the title game 3 years in a row. Getting kind of boring much like the NBA finals. I'll take Bama to hopefully END the trilogy and let some fresh teams take over in 2018.

I will make it to the Big House once this year from the West Coast. Contemplating going to the Penn State game on a solo trip.

Hard to see Clemson lucking their way into the CFP again this year.

It's strange that teams who don't even deserve to make the playoff seem to win it frequently. OSU in 2014 only got in because the officials handed them the PSU game (the interception that clearly wasn't an interception on replay and the obivous delay of game on the 50-yard FG that wasn't called) and Clemson in 2016 only got in because the NC State FG kicker shanked a 30-yarder from the middle of the field.

1)Michigan 2)Auburn 3)FSU 4)USC

Michigan wins it all!

I feel this is the year Bama falls off its SEC throne.
And yes, you gotta believe!!!! GO BLUE!!!!

Alot of OSU and Oklahoma, really don't understand that philosophy.  They play each other so one or the other is guaranteed one loss.  Both play in respectable conferences so I'm thinking both are are susceptible to a second loss which probably excludes you from a CFP game.  Maybe not but have to believe a lot of crazy things would have to happen for a 2 loss team to make the CFP game, atleast based on the short history of the format.

Also, maybe I haven't played close enough attention, but how did Stephenjrking get like 2 million MGoPoints?  I check the site pretty much daily, can't say I look at points much, but the last time I saw a jump like that I thought it was WolverineDevotee basically bringing down Dave Brandon. Considering there hasn't been that much of a monumental happening, just curious how someone got 2 million points.  I really like his content, so this isn't a bash, just strictly curious.

1. Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, Washington 2. Florida State 3. As a season ticket holder who lives in Chicago I plan on seeing 4 games in AA (most likely State, Minnesota, Rutgers, and Ohio State). I will find out soon if I will take a road trip to Maryland or Wisconsin.

1.Alabama, FSU, Michigan, Washington

2. Michigan

3. Probably just Maryland.

I think Bama beats FSU early, then FSU runs the table. Bama might stumble at Jordan-Hare but I don't see another loss for them. M might lose one game but beats OSU. Chris Petersen outcoaches the rest of the Pac-12.

It could also be Alabama, FSU, Auburn, Michigan, which would add a very sweet Suck It SEC cherry on top of our national championship trophy.

1.FSU 2.Georgia 3.USC 4.Michigan Michigan wins it all, I really believe it..Every team has a few worry spots..Our D will be really good again and I think the offense will have more big play ability..OSU comes to Ann Arbor for it all but can't get the breaks they got last year..Young hungry UM team goes and gets it for the 17'

1) FSU 2) Alabama 3) OSU 4) USC. OSU makes it as a 1 loss team, but that loss is to Michigan. They're clearly off their game after that as they barely scrape by Wisconsin in the title game, and get walloped by Bama in the semi-final.

1) FSU

3) 2, the UF and OSU game

Michigan goes to the Rose Bowl at 10-2, beats Stanford, and enters 2018 as a top-5 team.
