Michigan Football 2017 Hype Video: Power Glove
I'm sure this is generational, but that music made my balls crawl back up inside my pelvis and commit suicide.
But I liked the clips and editing, so 2/3 ain't bad?
It's not generational. I'm barely out of college, and I couldn't even make it through the whole video due to the "music." But like you said, the clips and editing of the portion I saw were good.
but had to turn it off with a minute left because of the music. Still appreciate the effort but I'd rather have Pop Evil's "In The Big House" over that...
The hype video had me ready to run through a brick wall (to turn the music off),
Will make a techno remix of anything it seems.
Was horrific! Video was good but at times I muted the sound.
Then you missed that awesome part when he matched the beat drop to Deveon trucking a defender.
but that music sounds like old techno club music from the late 80s and 90s.
That's offensive to techno music from the 80s and 90s (or any decade)
I did not say it was good techno music.
Better music and you have a winner. Had to mute.
What we need is a new fight song, because obviously. "The Victors" was good in its day, but if someone would give me $2,750 I could write a new fight song. Maybe we could do a Kickstarter campaign to pay me for my musical skills, and then maybe we could call it "Hail and Unite", or maybe "Unite and Hail", I'm not realy sure, and then get all the big name University Alumni (ha ha I got the suffix right, thank goodness for Google) like Madonna and the Unabomber, and my homeys from the class of '71 and have a big get together just like that Coca Cola thing that saved the world.
Okay I've got to admit, I have "The Victors" as the call signal on my cell phone, so I guess it can't be that bad, and then also it's been around since 1898 when it was written by Louis Elbel and then first played by the John Phillips Sousa Band, and then I'm not really sure if Fielding Yost or Bo Schembeckler or Jim Harbaugh would approve, so I'm still giving this some thought.
You must remember those frat clowns who wanted to write an updated Michigan fight song. They even made a video. It was completely absurd.
So I was just sticking a fork in those potato heads to make sure they're done.
#sarcasm
video = good. music = bad.
Our defense was pretty good last year.
How will we ever recover from ALL THE TURNOVER?!
/Non-Michigan fans
/more than a few Michigan fans
will handle it
D-line gonna kick out the jams
In the immortal words of Dr. John Zoidberg:
"Your music is bad and you should feel bad!"
I wouldn't make that music my worst enemy's alarm clock noise while they sleep in a pool after I gave them 10,000 paper cuts
this music is my jam tbh. love it
That's disrespectful
Not to take away from the OP's video, but have you all seen this one? Chills https://youtu.be/gpeVX5eTS64
chills for sure...
I miss Darboh already :(
I didn't mind the music at all. Overall a good video OP!
Thanks for taking the time to put together! Can't get enough of good hype videos. Season can't get here soon enough!
Welp, clearly the music is polarizing. I wanted some upbeat music and I love working out to this song, plus it enabled syncing big hits with the bass. Either way, I'm still proud of the video!
I'm a KP fan. Nice work!
Great effort.
get down on your musical tastes. I loved the video, got me super pumped for the upcoming season. Mission accomplished bro.
I approve.
Just made a 2017-18 hype video myself, check it out if you'd like: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=08OS7JMaDXs
And then really enjoyed the video.
Thanks for posting, OP.
I enjoyed it.
Regarding Speight's somewhat-odd jump into the endzone against Maryland (0:19), did anyone else have flashbacks to the old 80's video game Pitfall? Any Photoshop wizards, feel free to go to town.
The music was perfect! Well done!
