Spring Game: Question #856

Submitted by Wendyk5 on
Hopefully this hasn't been covered already. Will the concession stands be open during the day of the spring game? Also, what about Number Nine burger. If you're out there, Mr. Nine, what's the story?

This was found at the link below: "The parking lots surrounding Michigan Stadium will be available to accommodate fans that wish to tailgate for the spring game. Gates 2, 4, 8 and 10 will open at 10 a.m. Certain restrooms and concessions will be open to the public, but a final determination will be made at a later date based on the stadium construction schedule." http://www.mgoblue.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/040710aaa.html

was a huge problem last year for the simple fact that not enough were open... i went to get a couple of pops and hot dogs for my dad and i and i was in line for 25 mins before i just gave up on it and went back to my seats... IIRC the athletic department said they were going to address that problem for this years game...

Is this one of those, bring a camp chair and wait for hours kind of things? Speaking of camp chairs, is security going in going to be tight? (i.e., can you bring sandwiches and a water bottle, etc., if concessions are going to be that rough?)
