Going to miss first 4 games.
Dude can't seem to stay out of trouble. Too bad no one ever taught him any family values

Great offseason for the Steelers so far!

considering they traded him before the suspension, i'd say they did pretty well!
Hindsight is 20/20!

The Pahokee guys can hate him twice. Once for playing at Glades Central, and once for playing at OSU. And if they are 'Fins fans they can sorta hate him a third time for being a Steeler.

I live just outside of Pittsburgh and grew up a Steeler fan. I will guarantee you that Santonio Holmes will not be a Steeler much longer. Rooney needs to make a PR move and lets face it Ben is a moron but he is the franchise QB. We brought in Randle El and Arnaz Battle which seemed like one too many WR's at the time but now is starting to make some sense.

...more like adamschefter.

I knew it! Something had to give and Rooney doesn't put up with shit from WR's. Plaxico and Cedric Wilson are prime examples. I figured it would happen but was hoping for at least a second or third round pick.

When the Steelers got sick of Plaxico, he went to the Giants and won a Superbowl. I'm hoping that Holmes brings a Superbowl to the Jets.

Now it's being reported that he's being traded to the Jets.

Wow. I know he was in trouble, but a fifth round pick seems like little to give up for a guy with as much talent as Holmes.
I like the way the Jets are approaching the offseason though. Ryan is the type of coach who won't take shit from anybody, so by trading a couple late draft picks and turning them into Cromartie/Holmes, they are setting themselves up for a win/win situation. If these guys get their acts in line, they will pay off huge for them. If they don't, tell them to pack their bags and they only yield the aforementioned picks.

A first round talent for a 5th round pick.
Mark Sanchez should be a happy camper.
He only admitted to being a drug dealer in high school, has been arrested for possession before, and came to Columbus with 2 kids. Not to mention he got in a bar fight in 03 right before the Michigan game, got arrested for punching a girl in the face during it, and played in that game because Tressel said they would handle it after the season.

I HATE Santanio Holmes, and yes I did just yell that. Watching this punk ass make catches for my archrival Steelers made me sick to my stomach, happy he's out of the divison so far.
