OT: Need Help on Puting Together My Michigan Room

Submitted by seanml11 on
Just moved into a new house and I have been cleared by the wife to have an office/Michigan room. I will be buying two jersey's to frame and was wondering what you all would buy if you were in similiar circumstances. I have a hard time not going with Desmond and Woodson. I just can't see going against those two but maybe some of you could change my mind. Anyway, I thought it would be a nice topic of conversation. Everyone have a great Sunday!

would be fantastic. Although, I'm sure autographed jerseys for woodson and howard would be quite expensive. When I was in school Moe's on north u had a few autographed jerseys for sale... They're probably already gone though as that was a few years ago.

I am looking at the Desmond and the Woodson jersey's that are signed and that also have the Heisman inscription. The Jersey's are remotely expensive but it has been the expense of having them framed that has really shocked me. It basically costs the same to frame the jersey as it does to buy the jersey. I did not expect that!

I got a steal on Ebay from Sports Displays .com. They did one for me for $125. You had to send your jersey. Bookmark this guy, and they will run specials throughout the year. You might be able to get a discount since your having two. I got a Hester one framed for my friend as a gift. It looked pretty sweet. http://cgi.ebay.com/1-FRAME-YOUR-JERSEY-GET-YOUR-JERSEYS-FRAMED-MLB-NBA…

In my M basement, the bathroom has a M toilet seat. Under the lid it says "Flush twice, because it is a long way to Columbus". Maybe not good for the office, but a must have for the can!

Forget the helmet fathead. Go all the way and get an authentic helmet. I got an authentic Schutt a few years back. The girlfriend hates it, but she dare not touch it.

the price kind of scared me away. I wanted to get an authentic helmet but it was around the $300 range unsigned. It was in the $500-$1400 range depending of the player who signed it. I perceived a better value on a signed jersey which were in the $300-$400 range. I opted for a "mini" helmet for $60. Got to work with the budget!!!

If you can, I'd suggest getting some jerseys with names of significant, but somewhat obscure, contributors from the UM football past with cool names. (I guess if they're too obscure they won't have jerseys for sale, but please run with the idea for a second.) For example(s): Gold, Shea, and Mason. You'd then have some conversation pieces in the room. (Everyone knows Woodson and Howard, but they'd have to dig for the others.)

Seems you're invested in football jerseys, but what about an airplane-style shot of the Big House. Especially wait a few months for one to come out with the new renovations. Just a thought.
