OT: Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Since I found myself posting about it in the "Ginger" thread of all places, I thought it deserved it's own spot. For your favorites, comments, links... +1 for the link. I wish I could give you another for "smokeshow." I've never heard that before, but I really like it. I'm gonna try to start using it. I agree that Brooklyn's hot (and has an awesome name), but it seems like she's more up and down than other models. Some of her pictures--WOW. Some, just wow. Are Marisa Miller and Bar Rafaeli in this one again?

As tongue in cheek as it may be. :-) I mean, do you not turn and look at a beautiful woman on the street because she has clothes on? Do we not like hot women on tv and in movies, even the non-naked ones? If you're over 14 and whacking off to the swimsuit issue, yeah, that's sad. But it doesn't mean it's not nice to look at them. (Or you've made yourself numb by watching WAY too much porn).

Here's a test. Next time you go camping, far away from civilization, take a SI swimsuit issue with you. By the forth day of not seeing a woman, bust out the SI. Try to contain yourself. The baby batter will Soon over-ride all thoughts and you will be jerkin' the gherkin just like back in the day to that wonderful, but sometimes forgotten about soft porn. Let's never become too good for half naked women. Just remember, our fourfathers would of totally lost it just by the sight of a woman's thigh.

But it doesn't look like Namoi is even getting out of the first round. The bracketing is kinda, well, whack, and it's obvious that there some internet get offa my lawn young guy over old guy slant, because the classics aren't doing so well. (I mean really, THAT Tiegs shot losing to Varekova? Really?) I'm not sure if I put together my own bracket that these would even rate (Plus, they had Klum vs. Klum in one bracket), but my Final Four: Diaz-Rahi, Klum 99 (in a hard fought battle over Klum 98), Banks, Porizkova 85 in a really weak bracket (That was the Duke bracket...I would have taken any of the other 6 in the round of 8 in the other 3 brackets over this one...why isn't MacPherson a #1 seed??). Then had Diaz-Rahi over Banks in the Final. The results are kinda goofy too. It says I prefer two piece bikinis (is it possible to vote mostly one piece with all the two pieces? Seriously, I probably voted for more 0 piece); New School...not sure what that qualifies as, since my Final Four was 2 90's, an 80's, and an 02; Nite Owl...like I was paying attention to the time of day in the pics; and prefer blondes over brunettes. Now, while it's almost impossible not to with the candidates they picked, I had NO blondes in the Final Four...because in that pic, even Heidi isn't really blonde. Not sure what they're calculating... We'll see how the weeks play out...most seem done already...vote! :-P

Yet, when they're competing in athletic events, rather than appearing next to Swimsuit Models, there are going to be threads on "who's the hottest athlete". Athletes are always overrated because they're doing something we usually expect an Ogress to do. The funniest thing about the SI swimsuit issue is that the topless women always have their arms covering their breasts and as anyone who has ever been to (for example) a French beach knows that in reality these women are usually showing off, not hiding. Considering that it's now a stand alone issue...I don't know why SI is still playing so coy with the nudity.

What's funny is that Amish and Mennonites, probably the closest modern day American thing to the Puritans (yes, I know it's totally different, but go with me), all have a good laugh about racy things. You don't think it's unintentional that central Pennsylvanian towns are named Intercourse, Bird-in-hand and the like, do you?
