He's actually got a great point and he's proably not in the minority of people who feel that way about Corey Taylor (and Stone Sour). It's just a little odd to vocalize that opinion to the press - it's only going to lead to a backlash - but it could be calulated. It is keeping him in spotlight.

Also, in case anybody cares: Nickelback has sold over 24 Million albums in their career in the US. Stone Sour is at 2 Million. If you add in Slipknot US sales, they are just under 10 Million.

who is stone sour? I know Nickelback and a lot of their music. Never heard of this Stone Sour, so just from that I would have to wonder just how great of a band they are.

There was a brief period when I preferred Kroger, but they really specialize in groceries when Meijer is kind of a one stop shop. The Meijer I go to has an insane craft beer selection. The liquor department manager is very proud of this, as I've spoken to her on many occasions, and believe me, they are lucky to have her expertise as well as her business connections. Sometimes when I'm there, I am doing the grocery shopping and suddenly I think "oh man! I need Shock for my pool!" And I can go get a whole case. Or I spontaneously decide that I need a cordless drill, or a fire pit to put on my deck. But at Kroger this is not possible. I would have to make a separate stop at Lowe's or Home Depot. I have also found that Kroger does not always have a liquor department, and their health food section is usually pretty skimpy. Plus, their deli sucks. I'm sorry, but I have ordered a sandwich from there a few times and it has taken them over twenty minutes to make it, and it's usually something I could have made at home. Either one seems equally ubiquitous, but I just feel like I know what I'm getting every time I walk into a Meijer. Kroger? Not so much. But then again maybe it's just a matter of personal experience. I guess there's no way to know for sure. I would say that the one bonus Kroger gives you is the fuel points. I love getting a discount on gas but it's such a bitch that they expire after only a couple of months now.

Great thread, btw.

Nickleback is a descent band or at least they were 15 years ago. In my thirties now, I'd rather shoot myself in the knee than listen to an entire cd of Stone Sour. Some of the most depressing dog shit music around. They blow.
