I feel like this was pretty expected all around, but I enjoy seeing the dumpster fire continue to rage on in EL. The real fun will be if/when Bowers and Cooper bite the dust.

Let's be careful what we wish for. At this rate, MSU might end up having to play a kind-hearted but mentally disabled water boy on defense. This will naturally lead to a national championship game against their vaunted in-state neighbors...

1) Despite Dantonio's silly tweet about Copeland not being kicked off the team. That is totally false. When the kid got hurt he started to skip class. Academic casualty as well as issues with "accountability issues - weed."

2) Cassius Peat was told not to return because he was not the right fit, "culturally." MSU made it clear to him that he did not meet their expectations.

3) Blackwell did in fact "interfere" with the investigation and he did ask the players to delete evidence.

4) Every player must leave their cell phones in a box at the door before entering any of the athletic facilities. No more distractions.

Probably 1 - 2 more by fall camp.

Edit: Directly from Dantonio

1). Not sure if Smith will be able to play again

2). Hasn't made a final decision on Cooper but he is "paying the consequences" (He won't be back)

3). Paulino-Bell is not with the other freshman right now.

Lynn Henning destroyed this program with his article at turn of year about how Dantonio only recruits character and doesn't care about starzzzz.  He forgot the s on the end of the word character.

Nice stunt Bowers.

Copeland sucked sorry not a big loss.  He had 1 decent game like 2 years ago vs Oregon or something and everyone on RCMB had a chubby.  He hurt himself, ended the season.  Came back last year and looked a shell of himself and lost his job.  But they were "counting on him" due to his "awesome" 1 game back in 2015.

Oh man that really pisses me off, I hope there is a special place in hell for these people. The criteria in AZ for a Handicap Parking Pass is the documented inabilty to walk unassisted for 200 feet. I have seen people in my gym park in a Handicap spot with legal plates or tags, and proceed to walk briskly on an inclined treadmill for 45 minutes. I am a physician who treats chronic pain, and have reasons to write for these passes for those who really need it. They would give anything to be able to walk 200 feet, let alone 45 minutes straight.

Special place in hell because he wrongly used a handicapped reserved parking spot ? That is insane. Why are people so quick to judge others on a basic human level ? If something that innocent sends you to hell, then I might as well reserve my spot now. SMH

will get hit with a parking fine, usually several hundred dollars; well deserved. Someone who is otherwise healthy, fraudulently obtaining a handicapped tag/plate and constantly parking in a handicapped space, is a fucking asshole. Especially to the person who actually needs the spot.

He is usually a decent poster but he takes every word / phrase way too literally. Guys like him and His Dudeness are always jumping down people's throat for using common expressions.

It's like responding to: "To hell with Notre Dame", with

(1) "That is insane. Why would somebody get sent to hell just for going to Notre Dame?  Why are we always attackiing our rivals on a human level"

or

(2) "Yet another Jesus e-mail trying to justify the existence of heaven and hell.  The posters on this board are evil morans that I need to save with my wisdom"

Maybe, but if the program is going downhill and you're uncertain if the coach is even going to be there in a year or two, why sign up for that early even if there's early playing time?  If you're a take for MSU, surley someplace like Illinois, MInnesota, or Purdue would be better.

And that's not even trying to throw shade at MSU.  That's just me trying to objectively look at the situation.  All three of those schools -- especially Minnesota -- feel like they are headed in a better and more healthy direction as a program.

Much of difference - MSU isn't going to be filling 30+ spots with very many 4-stars or higher given the state of the program and the state of the B10 East. They'd be lucky to average 3* overall. Granted, Dantonio can make gold out of 3* straw, but competition matters as well.
