Noah Cain, No.1 ranked RB in class of 2019, sets a four day visit to Michigan
I'm Ron Swanson on Snake Juice Stoked!
To be followed by four years!
You spelled three wrong
then that's a good sign for his on field production
Many players want to stick around for four.
Maybe he can bring his preferred 5* left tackle with him, please??
4 days is an abnormally long visit, right? I feel like most kids do 2-3
Why only 4 days? Should be 4 years
Well, likely three, if he's as good as advertised.
would love to see that get established as a "pipeline" school.
It would be great to get Cain from IMG, because they do indeed have a lot of Abel football players...
...aren't we our little brother's keeper?
Just give Cain the rock and watch out.
I see what you did there
This might just trigger an exodus of visits from IMG.
Want want want. It'll be a fight (IMG by way of Texas by way of Baton Rouge), but he likes us a lot. Big fan of Harbaugh and is close with David Underwood. Tough runner for his size.
I'll start giving a shit on February 6, 2019
It worked for us on the defensive tackle front. RB is next.
It will be interesting to see if Najee Harris has the same slow path at bama as D'shawn Hand had.
up or there is a rash of injuries. Right now, Najee will be fighting to be the 3rd back his freshman year. And this is not sour grapes, the guys in front of him are both going to be 1st - 2nd round NFL draft picks and the guys he are fighting with for 3rd string are top flight as well.
Najee will have his shot but he probably has to wait until year 2 or 3 - so similar situation as Hand.
Damien Harris had a good chance of being a bust since he was from KY, yeah I was wrong on that one hahahaha, just don't tell my wife she thinks I've never made a mistake.
I'm not sold on Harris being great. good but not elite. I like Scarborough a lot more.
Damien Harris and Scarborough both looked awesome at the end of last year. Najee will be fighting with BJ Emmons and Josh Jacobs for the #3 spot. Both of those guys have shown flashes in limited time.
Najee will be a very good back and probably get to the NFL barring injury, but he might be a junior before he gets heavy rotation action.
Cam Akers OTOH, expect to see this guy's name early and often. There is some wild speculation that he could be a Heisman Candidate this year. He looked the part at the Army AA game and in spring ball.
cam akers is legit...fsu fans wont soon forget dalvin cook as hes one of their all time greats but akers should certainly help. harris is a nice prospect and good fit for bamas O but akers looked like last cycles top RB (by some margin) and will be one of better frosh this fall
No really, she is both a Florida State grad and has a Seminole tribe great-grandparent :)
Any my son love Michigan with Florida State as his 1b team. So they will be excited when they see this kid run.
are the size of my waist hahaha. Dude is just a monster...
I think your wife is lying to you...
She happily points out my many faults and mistakes :)
But just in the making me feel good sorta way.
She sure has you fooled.
The only holdup for him will be his pass blocking. He's coming in already over 225 lbs, which is plenty big for a freshman RB.
He might not be the lead back for a couple years, but he went there with the understanding that a timeshare in the backfield will leave him with less mileage on his body before his gets to the NFL.
the #3 role. BJ Emmons and Josh Jacobs to contend with. Emmons looked like a superstar in the flashes last year and Jacobs (a 3* I might add) posted monster numbers when Scarborough was hurt:
"Jacobs turned in a near 600-yard rushing season (567) as a freshman, while recording four touchdowns on 85 carries. He averaged 6.7 yards per rush and 11.14 yards a catch, en route to helping Alabama secure its third straight Southeastern Conference title."
That is one crowded backfield he is breaking into - not to mention that Bama had, Brian Robinson, the #8 RB in the class last year as well, so not a given that he will beat Robinson. Don't get me wrong, he could be better than all of those guys but it is a daunting task.
Ditto. Trying to keep track of all these 16 year olds emotional meters must get really old....
You probably don't date much either as they probably don't want to marry you so they dump you in the end, amirite???
Let Bredeson, Onwenu, and Ruiz host him.
Of you :)
Any relation to Deon Cain?
no but he is the son of dean cain.
and nephew of Herman Cain
Please let this be true
Not the son of Dean Cain. Don't think any relation to Clemson player Deon. Deon is from Florida but Noah I think is only from FLA because he attends IMG. Otherwise from elsewhere.
I don't do the Twitter. Did he just reply 96 hours in heaven? I think he really really likes us.
That was a random Michigan fan on Twitter tweeting at him. That being said, he definitely likes us.
Cain actually retweeted one of my replies to a Brian Marich tweet about Noah being highly interested in Michigan about 1-2 months ago. I felt special lol
I think he's defintely very interested in coming to Michigan. It seems his interest is beyond that of a regular recruit. Its just up to UM now to pull it off and get him fully on board
We need a bunch of running backs by that time.
no matter the crushing losses we had last year, just think of how much better we'll be by 2019/2020
Nice
