Its behind a Paywall, but there is article on Scout talking about OT Audrey Walker's Visit to UM. Walker is currently a 4-star prospect with offers from USC, tOSU, PSU, ND, MSU, and a host of other schools.

He's a big boy at 6'6 335, but gives off that same "gentile giant" vibe that William Campbell had. Perhaps the best quote of the article was:

“The school impressed me overall with the academics and the football,” Walker continued. "Coach Rod is real cool! He gave me a couple of Reese’s cups, some Gatorade, and we chilled and talked (laughing). He’s real cool and down to earth man.”

I'll be dubious of any Glenville visitors until the day we finally land one, but hey, at least we're still trying...

i was kind of wondering the same thing. There has to be some dollar amount or intent to give an unfair advantage i'm sure.

2 Resses cups = ok
1 Truck Load of Resses cups = not ok

Even if Ginn can't convince him to go to O$U wouldn't he at least steer him somewhere else, he's not lacking in premium offers. I think we have more of a chance with Cardale Jones because Michigan is his best shot for playing QB.

We just need to get one of these guys just to have a presence at Glenville, if it happens to be this kid that would be even better because this kid sounds like a big time prospect

PSU has also offered and, given their proximity to Hershey PA, we don't really have a chance on this one. Sorry to be a buzz kill on this one!

He was given Reese's cups AND a Gatorade - isn't that what Kiffin said to use? I've got an inkling that Lane didn't share the real recipe for a guaranteed commitment. I now have reason to doubt his integrity.

He's going to Ohio State. He'll do what basically every other Glenville kid does and drag the process out into January, take visits, be open to all schools, maybe even name a different leader or two (Marcus Hall)...and then he will commit to Ohio State, as Glenville kids do.

Did you know that Glenville has placed 22 kids on the top Ohio prospect list, per Rivals, in the 2006 through 2010 classes.

And more of them went to schools not named Ohio State.

So when somebody says, he will commit to Ohio State as Glenville kids do, there really shoud be an addendum that reads except for the kids who go to Tennessee, Illinois, Iowa, Miami Florida, Boston College, Purdue, Toledo, Wisconsin, Marshall and Indiana (Ray Fisher, hell yeah!).

I dont expect this kid to commit. I aint an insiderz, or even a pretend insiderz, so I know nothing about where any of these kids are going. But, I dont think this is a wasted effort by the Rodriguez staff. They are recruiting the entire state, this high school included even if it looks like a wasted effort to those of us watching from this board.

But my main point is this kid isnt an OSU lock because all Glenville kids go to Ohio State. That meme just is not true.
