Want want want. It'll be a fight (IMG by way of Texas by way of Baton Rouge), but he likes us a lot. Big fan of Harbaugh and is close with David Underwood. Tough runner for his size.

up or there is a rash of injuries.  Right now, Najee will be fighting to be the 3rd back his freshman year.  And this is not sour grapes, the guys in front of him are both going to be 1st - 2nd round NFL draft picks and the guys he are fighting with for 3rd string are top flight as well.

Najee will have his shot but he probably has to wait until year 2 or 3 - so similar situation as Hand.

Damien Harris and Scarborough both looked awesome at the end of last year.  Najee will be fighting with BJ Emmons and Josh Jacobs for the #3 spot.  Both of those guys have shown flashes in limited time.

Najee will be a very good back and probably get to the NFL barring injury, but he might be a junior before he gets heavy rotation action.

Cam Akers OTOH, expect to see this guy's name early and often.  There is some wild speculation that he could be a Heisman Candidate this year.  He looked the part at the Army AA game and in spring ball.

cam akers is legit...fsu fans wont soon forget dalvin cook as hes one of their all time greats but akers should certainly help.  harris is a nice prospect and good fit for bamas O but akers looked like last cycles top RB (by some margin) and will be one of better frosh this fall

The only holdup for him will be his pass blocking.  He's coming in already over 225 lbs, which is plenty big for a freshman RB.

He might not be the lead back for a couple years, but he went there with the understanding that a timeshare in the backfield will leave him with less mileage on his body before his gets to the NFL.

the #3 role.  BJ Emmons and Josh Jacobs to contend with.  Emmons looked like a superstar in the flashes last year and Jacobs (a 3* I might add) posted monster numbers when Scarborough was hurt:

"Jacobs turned in a near 600-yard rushing season (567) as a freshman, while recording four touchdowns on 85 carries. He averaged 6.7 yards per rush and 11.14 yards a catch, en route to helping Alabama secure its third straight Southeastern Conference title."

That is one crowded backfield he is breaking into - not to mention that Bama had, Brian Robinson, the #8 RB in the class last year as well, so not a given that he will beat Robinson.  Don't get me wrong, he could be better than all of those guys but it is a daunting task.

Cain actually retweeted one of my replies to a Brian Marich tweet about Noah being highly interested in Michigan about 1-2 months ago. I felt special lol

I think he's defintely very interested in coming to Michigan. It seems his interest is beyond that of a regular recruit. Its just up to UM now to pull it off and get him fully on board
