Figured Wagner would be back and Wilson would be gone. Wonder when we will get an official announcement from Wilson?

think he is going, but I have to say, I don't much understand the decision.

He had not even approached his ceiling at Michigan, he could be an All-American next year, could play for a Top 10 team now that Wagner has returned, and very possibly be a lottery pick in 2018.

I mean, to each their own, it is obviously a life long dream of his, and I will be happy for him where and whenever he gets drafted, but to leave what he could be coming back to in order to just hang on to the bottom of the first round just seems like a puzzling decision to me.

you don't get why a kid would leave college to make millions of dollars? You have been extremely negative about both of them. Wagner is coming back and you still don't know about DJ. Just knock it off and let's see what happens.

man.  It is just an opinion.  People are allowed to have those.

I am really happy that Wagner is back and excited for next season.  I admit that as today drew closer, I began to think that both were going to leave.  If DJ goes, I just don't understand the reasoning, that is all.  If you look at the rookie salary cap/scale, he would be likely costing himself several million dollars over the course of three years by foregoing a year that would allow him to put on muscle, be the offensive and defensive focal point of a really good team, and very likely put himself in the lottery and guarantee him a lot more money.

I am not being "negative" about it and literally just said that I would be happy for him when and where ever he got drafted.  I'm just saying that I would not particularly understand the decision if somewhere around 30 is where he is projected, from a basketball or business standpoint.

Depends if he's in the NBA or the D-League.

Mitch McGary can't stick in the NBA right now but you think DJ Wilson is going to?

Seems like the obvious decision is to come back and make sure you're a 1st round lock next year.

GR3 is the better comparison. He should have left a year earlier while the hype was strong. he stayed and fell about 30 spots. Coming back to college carries huge risks. NBA usually drafts on potential and sometimes giving them more data reduces that expected potential. It's easy for you to turn down millions and your ultimate dream, but unsurprisingly, it's not easy when you actually have that option in front of you.

Ausgezeichnet!

I also would have thought that they would potentially announce together if indeed thay were both returning, but we still have some time yet to hear from Wilson, so I am sure we'll all sit here with the "F5" button well into the night if necessary.

Hopefully the fact that Wilson hasn't announced doesn't mean anything. One way or another we'll know soon.

But this is great news! Getting him back for another year is huge. We've seen what he can do when he's on his game. If he can do that more consistently, he's got lottery pick written all over him next year. Seriously, against Purdue, Wisconsin and Louisville, three VERY GOOD teams, he looked like an All-American.

Thrilled about Mo.

I just have a hard time believing that a freak athlete like DJ, that can shoot 3's and play D, didn't get a first round guarantee. He'd fit well on Milwaukee, OKC, or San Antonio.

Really happy Mo's back!

But, IIRC, in 2013 Mitch & GRIII announched their return together, and Trey that he was leaving separately... And I think Glenn & Stauskas announced together the next year.

Can't specifically remember the specifics over the years, but my guess is DJ is gone :/

I figured some insiders would know, what's the word on DJ?  Anyone have a good read on which way he is leaning?

I had heard he wants to leave a while back, but that was hardly insider info.  Seems our insiders have been quiet.

This is great news.  Teams has the potential to be really special if DJ returns as well.  Add in the Grad transfer PG and Matthews to play as well or better than Irvin and this team could make the final 4.

Tony Bradley, North Carolina's 6-10 245 lb forward announced earlier this morning he will stay in the draft.  Most current projections now have him as a 2nd rounder but I wonder if he knows something about DJ that isn't announced.
