The players don't get to attend and get a jersey with their name because they don't know which day they'll be drafted (unless solidly 1st round). That's an overlooked part of it I think.

Hard to know whether to root for Jake butt to get drafted or for him to continue to fall. His insurance policy pays 10k per pick according to the WWL. He's already getting 150k for dropping out of the third. The guaranteed contract for the 1st pick of the 4th round is 650k. His policy tops out at 2M. I'm kinda hoping that he goes undrafted.

wold have taken Glasgow, they need some DT depth. Lions need an inline TE, which Jake Butt is not. No idea if the kid from Toledo is or not.

And unpredictable NFL Draft I've seen I a while. Lots of guys being taken well ahead of projected, and plenty of guys sitting and stewing for a while as they drop more and more. I just wish Butt would find a home.
