Yeah my one wish for tonight (winning isn't a wish, it's a need) is that we win so handily that the game predictor graph is a straight line at 99-100% Michigan. I would really like to avoid doing couch cardio for once.

the exception of the Nebraska game, we really don't do that kind of win.  Even games where the final score would indicate that we closed it out rather convincingly, we always find a way to allow teams within striking distance.  Two reasons that jump out to me.  One is obvious, we have trouble inbounding the ball, from anywhere.  The second one is that our offense stops moving when we are trying to kill time with a lead.  It is fine to try to work some clock, but we just shut down and Walton ends up jacking a contested 3 late in the shot clock.  We need to maintain a certain aggressiveness/focus even with the lead late in the game.

I have doubted this team all year so I can't stop now. I think the lack of rebounding will finally catch up to Michigan. Oregon dominates the glass and wins.

Oregon is gonna try and attack DJ and Moe to get them into foul trouble, same with Derrick. They think they can handle Mark, X, Robinson, Rahk and Irvin. If they do that, I think Ducks win, If we play like we have and keep those key pieces on the floor I think we win.

I don't know anything about the Ducks, but I will guess Michigan wins. They're very hot right now.

For the third game in a row, we don't wear maize, much to my chagrin.

(However, the last time we wore them was the Northwestern bleh so maybe they are bad luck and we should never wear them again).

I love wearing maize, it's a great tournament tradition for Michigan.

Every year except this year, where the collar color issue combined with the B1G tourney run has ingrained our blue uniforms as mainstays. Keep them coming.

is the collar color issue?  Have not heard this discussed before.

(And really, who could they not have worn maize against in the BTT?  When we went to the BTT finals with Stauskus and then the Elite 8 we did not wear anything other than maize.  Obviously they could not wear them against Illinois this year because all they had was their pajamas but Minnesota wore white, Purdue wore white, Wisconsin wore white. No issue there. There would have been no clash with OK St. or Louisville's uniforms either).

With Oregon's short bench I think they will be too focused on our main guys and Duncan finally goes off tonight.

Michigan - 81

Oregon - 71

Michigan falls behind by 5-7 points early because Moe gets some ticky tack fouls and is on the bench for 10 minutes in the first half.

He plays smarter in the 2nd half while Wilson and Walton go off, and Zak has about 15 2nd half points and we are up 10 with about 4 minutes remaining.  The last minute and a half we are shooting free throws to ice the game.
