OT: Day of the Dude
Today is The Day of the Dude -- the anniversay of the release of The Big Lebowski.
From this article (http://www.vocativ.com/culture/religion/anniversary-big-lebowski-12-que…), here is a brief description of the event and the importance of it for Dudeists.
The Day of the Dude is especially “high” because it marks the birth of our sacred text, the film The Big Lebowski. Generally we ask that people observe the day by doing something relaxed and convivial. Most people get together with friends and go bowling or drink White Russians.
Clearly off-topic, but being on-topic is not really something the Dude worries about.
LOL, great minds think alike
...man.
Yeah well you know that's just....like....your.........opinion, man.
Let's GIF it out in here...
Ever heard of a little show called Branded?
Bulk of the series...
You're being very un-Dude.
And ferret.
Marmot.
And let's not forget that keeping wildlife, um... an amphibious rodent, for... ya know domestic...within the city...
That ain't legal either.
If you haven't seen it yet it's probably too late. It's become such a cultural phenomenon that it can't possibly live up to the hype that you've heard about it.
For the record I do think it's a great movie.
I loved it the first time I saw it, but I watched it with two coworkers who hated it and were a real downer. Second time was better, as I knew just the crowd to watch it with.
Walter is one of my all time favorite characters in film.
Never seen it. Seems like a bad movie that just has a following because it's easy to quote.
This guy probably loves the Eagles.
Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In
It is such a great movie that gets better every time you watch it.
Obviously you're not a golfer
It can be a natural, zesty enterprise.
These gifs are really tying this thread together man.
Never understood the love this movie gets . Plus , the Eagles fucking rule !!!
Shut the fuck up, Donny, you're out of your element.
Is there anybody on this board named Donny? Walter has something to say to that man.
I like Logjammin' by Jackie Treehorn.
