[LOCKED] Harbaugh on Twitter re: Trump... Goodness
Jim has thoughts on presidential initiatives... Comment on your own risk. I love Harbaugh! https://mobile.twitter.com/CoachJim4UM?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%…
MOD EDIT - I'll lock this to be safe. We shall leave the link to the tweet here, of course, for everyone's private reflection. - LSA

I have a feeling Harbaugh is very non partisan and considers every issue individually. I wish every American were that way.

Also, good on Coach for taking a stand here.

But that plus stereotyping, while they both have their negatives, are UNBELIEVABLE timesavers. Seriously, busy people should look into this.

How would you even vote, there are near zero politicians who cast their own votes this way.
Both sides need to become disillusioned enough to smash through the two-party tribalism. That seems a ways off though.

the parties would just be replaced by two similar rebranded parties. You really have to have a parliamentary system to have multiple parties.

Two-party tribalism...I'm going to steal that. Party over Country...

It is noteworthy that beliefs about, say, the Second Amendment and abortion tend to line up as often as they do. The connection between the typical liberal and typical conservative positions on those issues is not at all necessary for intellectual consistency.
Seems like I should add that this is only an observation. I'm not advocating for anything here.

Less abortion equals more future gun sales.
February 28th, 2017 at 1:21 PM ^
Obviously there is no connection between the two things, but I think that viewpoints often align is more indicative of how an individual views the world, rather than an indication of pure partisanship.
That being said I do work with both pro-2A and pro-choice Democrats (more union and rural types) as well as more libertarian types who vote Republican and are pro-2A and personally anti-abortion but who think the government should not regulate the choice (so technically pro-choice).
I don't think people actually align perfectly along party platforms as often as we think - I have always had very large disagreements with the party I generally vote for along certain issues - but the way individuals prioritize certain issues may cause them to vote for parties they only agree with half the time because that party represents their views on the issue most important to them. I know big time gun enthusiasts who vote Republican solely on 2A issues when they are otherwise a left-of-center individual.

No, no you are not, and apparently you are unfamiliar with what "skipping" something means... :-D
P.S. I am skipping this one too, as far as substantive comments are concerned, but want to opine that this will get ugly fast, and at least one person will be called a fascist, while another will be called a "retarded liberal cuck feminazi..."

I have a hard time imagining this one will be that controversial though.
