Finally. Air Jordans.

SneakerNews.com is reporting that the custom Air Jordans the 5 Jordan schools get for the NCAA Tournament every year will potentially be on sale on the date of March 10th.

OT: FontMan JoeMSports with the scoop. $160 on 3/7.

Those look great to me.  Not pictured here are the bottoms of the shoes, which are clear with "MICHIGAN" on the bottom.  [Edit - Two seconds later WD reposts with improved pictures, including the soles!]  These are extremely well done, IMO.

It seems that Nike screwed up their opportunity on the UNC ones, though.  Rather than simply say "TAR" on the back of each heel, they apparently made the decision to have "TAR"  on the left shoe and "HEELS" on the right.

I have the dunk from above J Retro 4's and the Nike Dunks Air Wolverines from last year... but what I wouldn't give for a nice retro Michigan themed pair of 1's, 3's, 4's or 5's.  Like these, but wish they were the highs.  Of course I'll still get them, though.

The "GO BLUE" is so large that it looks like screaming. Either reduce the point size, or replace it with a block M. It would be a cleaner look.

Otherwise, these new ones are pretty sweet. I wouldn't buy them, but that's nothing against the shoes. I'm just a cheap ass.

Them's nice.  I might have to get me some and not tell the wife how much they cost.

I also like the GT ones, if you remove the Hoyas and Georgetown parts (I'm partial to grey shoes).
