think it is distracting for the players.  It is an important game of the team, and they can contribute to this cause without wearing the shoes.  It may not be that popular of an opinion, and I know it is for a good cause, but this is akin to an equipment change for players.  This is not a towel on a football uniform.   This is essentially the only piece of athletic equipment used in basketball and now it is bright pink.  I think you have to keep that in mind with this.  It could have an effect on the game and that is not inconsequential.

something wrong with bright pink?  Again, I don't see why bright pink is supposed to be any worse than any other color.

people are trying to make this into some kind of social issue/commentary?  No, bright pink is a fine color, it is just very, very different from what they normally wear.  Do you wear a suit to do your job?  Go to work tomorrow wearing a bright pink suit and see if your day feels normal.

People are just analyzing your statement. For instance, your suit analogy is significantly different than shoes considering a suit includes pants and a blazer making a color change much more noticable and, potentially, distracting. When I play basketball, the color of the shoes on my feet really don't matter at all during the game. And considering they are the same shoes some on the team have already worn, it shouldn't really matter.

the post I'm responding to said that the shoes would be distracting because they're pink.  I genuinely don't understand that at all.  And no, I wouldn't feel weird at all wearing a pink suit one day a year for breast cancer.  Why would I?

you're just being obtuse and trying to alter context in order to win a specific argument that nobody except for you is having.  Do I have to write "instead of white or yellow, which they normally wear" in order to convince you that it is not about this specific color.  Fine, change it to bright orange.  What I am saying remains unchanged.  It does not have to do with the specific color, regardless of how bad you want it to.

You have +2 votes and -18 votes on the OP. That seems to be a pretty good indication that this second post about pink shoes is unwanted by a majority.

I know it's hard to believe, but not everyone cares about Michigan apparel as much as you. I care about recruiting more than many, but I don't post a new thread for every new offer. I do, however, make ONE thread occasionally about a significant recruiting development.

If you don't want to be hit by negative comments and negbangs, you might want to learn to differentiate between the stuff that you care about and the stuff that ONLY you care about.

It has become part of his identity, it makes it almost "okay" for him to seek attention this way. It's fucking sad, is what it is. I used to think there was some hope he would turn things around and stop being... well, like this here. I lost that hope a few months back, he aint gonna change, he'll double down if anything. Then crash and burn.

Pink and white UA Clutchfit Drive, those are the best and most comfortable hoop shoes I've worn. And darnit, they actually look good.
