Michigan Hockey NCAA Tourney vs. B-State Open Thread

Submitted by M-Wolverine on

About 45 minutes away. I assume a lot will be following along online, even though it's on Comcast 900 (and various other channels as Brian listed).

For those whose cable companies have finally gotten on the bandwagon, the game is also being broadcast on ESPN360.

ARE WE READY?!?!!

I'm stuck watching on espn360, but luckily I can broadcast it to my TV so it is a pretty good viewing experience.

Wish I had full DVR, but this will definitely do!

GO MICHIGAN! BEAT THE BEAVERS! GO!

Right now I see two options on justin.tv - both showing it after the UND-Yale game. Here's a link to the michigan search - maybe more will pop up once we get a bit closer...

edit: crap - the currently available feeds might give you the tape delay on ESPNU. Hope for a dedicated one from someone with Fox Sports North or Comcast 900.

Could help to search Bemidji on there as well in case someone posts something without mentioning Michigan for some reason...

Save some questions as people come on....(not sure about alternative internet feeds).

I updated the preview with some extra television information, but if you missed it Saturday's game is now on Comcast so everyone should get it. Channels:

Comcast: 900
Dish: 432 and 436.
DirecTV: 640 and 668.
The game is also on ESPN360 and will be on ESPNU on tape delay. Hypothetical Sunday game would be on ESPNU.

North Dakota has also made it a game after being down three at the end of 2. It's not often you see someone taken down on a breakaway and still score.

Well, not exactly what I meant, but I added the station listing later, so a nifty addition. I must remember that html link stuff.

I've noticed espn360 lags A LOT. Maybe it's just my awful ass Vista though. I don't understand why BTN didn't just broadcast this game? I'm sure there isn't anything else going on worth watching so broadcast a NCAA tourney game!

You know that college hockey is maybe the 42nd most popular sport in ESPN's broadcast area, right? Other than a few people like us, no one gives a rat's ass.

With Colorado College and (possibly) North Dakota out, it looks better. But first the Beavers must perish tonight
