Wow, how far we have fallen. Half way through the first half and no open thread. There should be a drinking game called "drink when Walton misses a 3." People would get WASTED. 11-9 Penn State, 12 minutes to go 1st half.

Beilein will do just enough to hang around with no serious change. Until he's ready to leave. Our hoops program is pretty much Lions football. Some high points to keep you intrigued, but pretty much the same operation year in year out.

Beilein has won his conference twice as well as making the national championship game. The lions rarely make the playoffs and if they do, they're a wildcard. Illinois is a better comparison

tre Burke made it to the finals. Beilein did not. The Kansas game was not beilein, it was tre, and the other overlay recruits who were NBA players.

That was tough to watch, we need a difference maker, somebody like Trey Burke. that whole game I was waiting for us to turn it on but we didn't really. This isn't our year and with the way JB recruits I can't really say if we will have another one

This is how basketball goes sometimes. Not cause to panic yet. Great teams have some ugly wins against mediocre teams. Sometimes great teams play a few bad games in a row- just before the tournament that 12-13 team that went to the NC game lost to Penn State and lost to Wisconsin. I'm proud of how the team fought back when they were down 14. It would have been easy to roll over at that point.
