4/5 * WR Nico Collins to visit UGA on Jan 29th.

Did not see this covered in the recruiting thread earlier. That visit is about a week out from Signing Day. Georgia is in an arms race with Alabama right now and will be tough to hold off for Nico. A true 6ft5 red zone guy with ability to separate is hard to find. Michigan will put a press on for his signature the last week I'm sure with in home visits. Had a chance to spend some time with him on his official and he is a very nice and humble kid. Definitely a kid we want in our program. Hopefully we can fend off the Dawgs.

Thathe visit looms large like a damn storm cloud. They're going to be vested to pull a top Bama kid just to stick it to Bama and they have a top 5 class in their own right and can sell owning the SEC East for the foreseeable future. Going to be tough to battle when we have 3 recievers in this class already. I do think Nico stands out over all but DPJ...and they play way differently in my opinion and wouldn't be slotted at the same position.

Just wanted to let you Michigan fans know there is no chance in hell that you are getting any more highly-rated recruits , based on how you played against Fla St .You and the rest of the little ten are a joke and every one knows that , so don't worry about it , you are done enjoy losing 3 or more games a yr . After all that is how you roll

Time for Harbaugh to offer his coaches some jobs. We have recruiting coordinator, analyst and WR coach positions open!

I'm only partially kidding.

So who is this other silent commit I keep hearing about? Doesn't seem to be Nico. I'd be kind of surprised if it was Filiaga. I'm actually starting to wonder if it might be Najee

if a recruit, I'd immediately be suspect of any coach that had to talk trash or lie about another program I liked. Any level of "I heard he's leaving....." or just shit talking another program would immediately send me a bad vibe. I don't get how or why so many kids fall for it, let alone accept the act of it.

I get the process and more power to any recruit that fully explores it but the strong rule of "long time favorites for out of region kids rarely end up there" is strong for a reason. I know he's made a half dozen trips. I'll be surprised if he ends up here. If I had a CB I'd have put it in to Georgia a few months ago.
