Maybe they can stop frustrating me now. Also, Babcock needs to wear his bling more.

It's just nice to have a healthy team.

The way the season ended last year and with all the injuries, OT losses, and fight just to make the playoffs, this Wings team will feel like they have something to prove this playoffs.

Note the 'wahhhh he hit me' to the ref after they are separated. You can see the sniveling, but his head is turned so you can't see what he obviously said, because he whines about everything.

was a little bitch all game, taking a cheap shot at Filppula after Talbot took his cheap shot after the first goal. Because Crosby was held pointless and almost shotless all night, he decided he was going to display some severely weak unsportsmanlike conduct and cross check Z about 50 times. Howard took exception and tried to tear his head off with the glove.
This should have been instigating a fight in the last minute of a game and as per NHL rules, he should be suspended for a game. But, with Bettman and Campbell in bed with Crosby and the Pens (see Malkin's lack of a 1 game suspension last year in the Finals) there will be no discipline for Crosby.

exagerating what happened at the end of the game... trust me i think crosby is a little bitch that needs to be put in his place more than anyone in hockey... but those cross checks weren't "unsportsmanlike conduct" worthy what so ever holmstrom gets it worse when he stands infront of the net... and there wasn't a fight... so the instigating of a fight penalty doesn't even come into play... as for howard trying "to rip his head off", please watch the video again... all he did was give him a facewash with his trapper... i do agree that betman and campbell won't do anything about this and because of that crosby will keep doing it... its going to take a team to just send a goon out there and have him "take care" of crosby to teach him a lesson, and then maybe it will stop...

And could the media be more blind to this? Crosby is such the sports writer's darling.
Where no one has a problem ripping guys like Sean Avery, an equally weasel-like player with much less talent, no one will criticize Crosby. Even dirty players like Matt Cooke are getting a pass from sports writers, merely for being a teammate of his.
I've gone so far as to elicit responses from the sports writers on the TSN boards, calling them out on this. They say I'm wrong, yet feel compelled to respond.

with the TSN guys they have been blowing him since he was 14... so there is no way what you'll ever get them to admitt anything about what bitch he is...

How would you like to be Phoenix, San Jose or Chicago right now, all fighting for the privilege of playing the Red Wings in the first round? None of these teams scare me, and really I think the team I want to face the least in the playoffs is Vancouver.

They play the same finesse style as the Wings and, as such, won't give up many power play chances. Plus, that Luongo guy is decent.
I'd like nothing more than to take out the Blackhawks in the first round. Hopefully everyone in Chicago has hung on to their merchandise receipts.

I would most like to play the Blackhawks to be honest. I think their goaltending is awful and they are sliding a bit. Sharks are due for their annual playoff collapse and the Wings are perfect to show them the door. I thought the puck possession was great last night and I liked seeing guys healthy. Bertuzzi was even great on the fore-check and was getting physical.
I would like nothing more than to knock them off in the first round.
