TomVH: Kent Turene Update
LB Kent Turene told me today that if Michigan offers, they will take over the number one spot. It seemed like he would eventually commit if we offered, but he didn't want to come out and say it.
He said he's not frustrated, and he understands that they need some time. We'll see what happens if/when they offer.
Thanks a lot Tom. It's nice to know that a quality MLB is favoring Michigan in this class.
I read that Nebraska was recruiting him pretty hard. Is this still the case? Is he not very interested in the huskers?
Sounds like he's a solid prospect. Plus, I'm of the "I love recruiting Florida camp." I feel that, by and large, Florida has the most fertile recruiting ground available. I feel that we can make a true impression on recruiting this state, eventually being right up there with the state schools with every top Florida prospect. Once we start winning, the big house and the winged helmet will be really attractive to these kids.
Open up a Boyd Anderson pipeline. Future Florida HS kids will love seeing the likes of Demar, Denard, Turene, Odoms, Hawthorne, Emilien hoisting the glass football one day. Mark my word.
Weren't there a lot of complaints last year that RR gave out too many offers too quickly?

Eh, considering that Dantonio is doing a pretty good job of blurring the line, I don't think he could say much.
