OT-My horrible bracket

Submitted by InRichRodWeTrust on
I figure most people on here know their college basketball, so can you please tell me, if I am a horrible at picking teams or just have bad luck. Here are the teams I picked that lost. I have 10 correct picks and 14 wrong picks. UNLV San Diego St Georgetown UTEP Vanderbilt Minnesota Texas Temple Marquette Clemson Utah St Siena Notre Dame Richmond I just have to laugh it off. I just checked ESPN and I’m in the 0.6 percentile. At least I got my final 4 teams-Kansas, Syracuse, West Virginia and Baylor. How many do you have correct so far?

I (obviously) picked New Mexico St. Unfortunately, they look like the worst team in this tournament. They are making stupid decisions on offense and are running the zone like dipshits on the defensive end. They're lucky they hit a few threes to even be within reasonable range of getting back in the game.

is kind of funny. im 17-7 right now with utep, gtown, texas, florida, richmond, nd, vandy losing. i can make a legit argument for the majority of ur picks. idk about minn/sdsu but on the bright side u still have 4/4 f4s. i have 7/8 e8s still up(georgetown) and 14/16 s16s(gtown, UTEP) st mary won bud.

like ND getting a 6 and cornell getting a 12, its still march MADNESS. this happens every year in varying degrees. not a lot of people picked ohio over gtown. its not that "3s dont beat 14s" its that gtown usually shows up to play in the tournament. cant blame seeds for bad picks. im watching one of my bad picks right now and feeling STUPID about it(fsu....)

1 pick my friend and I normally do well in this sort of stuff. Lots of bad luck on our picks. Even if some of those buzzer beaters go the other way, we would be okay due to the craziness of the first day but....

Texas, Temple, Marquette, Notre Dame, Richmond, Vandy, Georgetown of those, i only had Vanderbilt advancing to the next round. not awful but not great.

Losers: Notre Dame, Siena, Marquette, Temple, Texas, Vanderbilt, Georgetown Had Georgetown in the Elite Eight and lots of close games in those loses (tend to go overboard with upsets so I went the other way this time). I suddenly don't feel very confident in my Final Four either... I think it's because you have the same as me. Please tell me you don't have West Virginia in the Final and Kansas winning it all.

My bracket died halfway through the first day. I got over this years ago - I just fill one out for the hell of it, pick against the teams I hate (haha, Notre Dame) and enjoy the office smack talk.

I have missed Ohio, Old Dominion, Washington, Wake Forest, and Murray State so not doing that bad compared to some people i have talked to. My Final Four is Kentucky, Villanova, Syracuse, and Kansas. I Have Kentucky beating Syracuse for the championship.

3 of my friends and I put $50 each on our Yahoo brackets every year. One of them had Vandy in his final and Gtown in his Four and the other was sweating his nuts off yesterday with 'Nova in his final and he also had Gtown in his Four. As far as the OP's picks, really only Georgetown was a complete kick-me-in-the-nuts shocker to me. Especially the way they got their dongs punched into the ground.

I went 21-11 in the first round, but I lost some teams I had going deep. (Georgetown to final four and Richmond,Utah State to 16)

And I got a bit lucky with my pick of St. Mary's over Villanova today. In the top 4 in the mgoblog Yahoo pool, gunning for a t-shirt!
