Besides the obviously terrible performance against SC do we think SC may actually be a decent team? They had a pretty good record last year and were left out of the tourney (in favor of us). Beat a possibly decent Syracuse team by double digits over the weekend.

SC seems to be a tournament team for the time being. That being said, Michigan should have destroyed them. How we only lost by 15 while shooting and playing one of the worst games I have ever seen the squad play the last six years is beyond me. We should have rolled SC and I feel pretty safe guaranteeing that Michigan doesn't < 20% from 3 the rest of the season. So while it may end up not being a "bad loss" for Michigan, it should still have been a W that hopefully doesn't come back to bite us.

don't think it will. I don't think we will be that close to the bubble this year. We are closer to the team that you saw in NY than the team that you saw in SC. I am sure that our team was a lot happier to be in South Carolina playing some random opponent at 5 PM on ESPN U than they would have been going home for a needed break to see friends and family.
/s What a ridiculous game to schedule.

Still bangable though, so commence the banging.

Not heading to the game, but I'll be tunning in this evening. I think we'll learn a lot about the team's defense tonight as VaTech will look to push the tempo after both made and missed baskets.

I'll be taking the better-half tonight. Grabbin a burger and brew downtown then on to the game. Good guys should prevail at home. Keep the pressure on D and take the lid off of the basket. Michigan victory 64-54.

I'll be cheering from the rafters as usual!

Going to be there. Very interested in how the attendance is, especially among the students. I'll consider this something of a bellwether game to see how early I have to show up to the lesser B1G games to actually get a spot in the Maize Rage. Think I'm gonna show up around 6 and hope I get a wristband. Last year with a few key exceptions showing up an hour early would have been fine. Not sure if people have noticed yet that this year we're sort of good.

I'd be there if I lived in town.
