I write this with a very heavy heart. I realize everyone (myself included) are seething over Saturday. It's been on my mind every hour.
That being said, I just received devastating news that puts this game in perspective. My coworker, my friend, Michael Bohlen, died of a massive heart attack last night. He was 23.
Michael was one of the bright spots in this stressful, often depressing job we do at 911. He always saw the humor in things, and was incredibly skilled. He often worked 60-plus hours a week like so many others here due to a constant number shortage.
I'm at a loss for words. This hurts. Please say a prayer for Michael and his family today. He will be missed.
