Harbaugh is overpaid. We had the more talented team
November 26th, 2016 at 4:08 PM ^
General observation: Fuck this guy ^
November 26th, 2016 at 4:11 PM ^
We're better for it.
November 26th, 2016 at 4:12 PM ^
Trolls abound.
November 26th, 2016 at 5:17 PM ^
...you are a douche.
November 26th, 2016 at 4:22 PM ^
Thanks for down voting. Go ahead and watch the stage this year. Michigan was more talented and will have 11 guys drafted early. Harbaugh makes nine million and urban makes six. Is it unreasonable to note that he's over paid after that loss? Rational folks say no. That was a game they should have won. Maybe urban is underpaid. As long as we are losing with a team of seniors and NFL guys I'm going to feel fine questioning that game.
November 26th, 2016 at 4:27 PM ^
Fuck. Off. You. Douche. Nozzle. The refs won that game but they get paid way less. Who's underpaid now?
November 26th, 2016 at 4:33 PM ^
We assume the refs got paid less...
November 26th, 2016 at 4:53 PM ^
Let me use simple figures for you: Harbaugh makes nine million, which is more than Urban and Saban. By any rational measure, he should be the third highest paid coach, but he's the highest, which makes him overpaid. Now, if we are arguing about the value to the program outside of the field including renewed fan interest, perhaps he is properly remunerated. I'll give you a second to look that word up. Anyway, keep calling people douche nozzles. I see great things ahead of you in life. Hell, you could be president.
November 26th, 2016 at 4:56 PM ^
The NFL doesn't want Saban(old, failed) or Urban(college offense). The NFL market drives up his price.
November 26th, 2016 at 5:04 PM ^
I have heard of supply and demand. I have never hear of supply and "Fucking" demand becuase people don't respect you in the real world if you use profanity in lieu of regular arguments. That said, solid point. See what I did there. I listened to an argument and made a rational response based on the data. It's neat. Anyway, I do think Saban and Meyer are better coaches. That said, I'm mostly just frustrated that this damn good Michigan team just lost to OSU. I'm mad at all the things. I'm sorry that being frustrated about a really talented, at least NFL wise, Michigan team losing causes such consternation in the MGoblog fan base.
November 26th, 2016 at 5:10 PM ^
We just got bent over by the refs and you're calling the only reason the Michigan program is in the position it is overpaid.
November 26th, 2016 at 5:19 PM ^
The game was officiated poorly. I don't disagree with that. That's different than saying that Michigan lost the game purely on officiating. I wish Speight had made better reads, that Darboh and Butt had brought the ball in and that M hadn't been so insisten on pounding Deveon when he struggled to get more than a yard. If you read below, I'm mostly frustrated because I think Michigan was more talented this year and still lost. It seems reasonable to me.
November 27th, 2016 at 12:24 AM ^
The better team doesn't always win, see this game and the Iowa game as examples.
November 26th, 2016 at 9:40 PM ^
Are better coaches????? Ok. The errors made in today's game that lead to M losing were not a result of Jim Harbaugh. The first 7 for OSU was a deflected pass that was intercepted and taken to the house. The second 7 was a bad throw by the QB. Everyone makes some mistakes but that was massive. Either of those don't happen, The Game never makes it to extra time and M wins.
November 26th, 2016 at 4:28 PM ^
Yeah, because Harbaugh made Darboh drop a perfectly thrown ball on third down and controls the one if the most blatantly one-sided officiated games I've ever seen. The plays where there, our guys didn't make them when they needed to be made.
November 26th, 2016 at 4:32 PM ^
I love Michigan, I love Harbaugh, But if you say an opinion and the Michigan Mafia disagree they down vote you. Fuck the Michigan Mafia and down voting. The guy is partially right, all this don brown is a defense genius, we couldnt stop a qb wrap or qb read option. Jim Harbaugh is an offensive genius and a great coach. but what did our offense do in the 2nd half??? you can love michigan and love harbaugh and question some things.
Go BLUE
Fuck the snobby arrogent Michigan Mafia
Down vote away you soccer playing socialists
November 26th, 2016 at 4:38 PM ^
Fuck outta here.
"Michigan Mafia". You come up with that all by yourself? The general consensus here is that saying "Harbaugh and Don Brown are over-paid" is a bullshit, douchey opinion.
You're downvoted because your opinion is fucking stupid.
November 26th, 2016 at 4:44 PM ^
Just look at the facts. Harbaugh at 9 million and urban at six. Maybe the right argument is that urban is underpaid. But settle down there and turn the old brain on.
November 26th, 2016 at 5:46 PM ^
Have to agree...saying Harbs is overpaid is simply absurd and sour grapes. UM was dogshit just 2 years ago and Harbs has come in and made them NATIONAL title contenders. Unbelievably quick turnaround. Worth every penny and then some. Whether he is outcoached or not in a single game is inconsequential when looking at the entire body of work.
November 26th, 2016 at 6:20 PM ^
That's probably true. Still pissed we lost this game. But I'm off the ledge I was on after the game. 12 out of 13, man.

werent you the one that loved kianis enis from winchester Indiana??? The guy was having sex with 12 yr olds. my takes suck because i say don brown is overrated??? the four times we needed a stop this year, Iowa we gave up a FG, OSU FG, OSU TD, OSU TD
Its great we look dominant against rutgers, Fact he was brought in to stop OSU, did he???
when it mattered most what happened?
November 26th, 2016 at 4:54 PM ^
You're a real piece of shit, huh?
November 26th, 2016 at 5:02 PM ^
didnt you get hyped when Kiante enis committed to Michigan,
where you not upset when Michigan dropped him
when we needed 4 stops, did the other teams score all 4 times(Iowa, last 3 OSU possessions)
what am I wrong about?? I disagree with your opinion, I must be a piece of shit, keep downvoting

I got excited for him, yes.
I was disappointed when his offer was pulled, yes.
Did I know about the circumstances off the field? The damning, horrible acts he committed? No, you fucking idiot. Please, continue to act as if I support that kind of behavior. You're a cool dude.
November 26th, 2016 at 5:25 PM ^
You should be rooting for PENN STATE!! Who is the real doucher???
November 26th, 2016 at 5:54 PM ^
I'm ashamed to share this community with someone like you.
Edit: I hope you never have to experience the pain of a situation such as that.
The shock and heart wrenching loss is felt by both sides of the situation. I never once defended him, although I don't have to explain that to some jackass anonymous poster.
November 26th, 2016 at 5:58 PM ^
You have posts of: you do Hookers & Coccaine, you have AIDS, watching UM basketball gave you syphallis, and that you want to go on the field and hit college football players & injure them, and your ashamed of me. Your a loser dude.
November 26th, 2016 at 6:10 PM ^
Lmao. You're going to hilarious lengths, dude. Funny what can be said when things are taken out of context.
And I never said anything about injuring anyone. For you though, I think I'd make an exception.
Haha... Man, losing sucks. It sucks even more when the dark side of the fanbase rears its ugly head afterwards.

November 26th, 2016 at 4:38 PM ^
I can assure you that you are not alone. Not turning your back on a person or program, but you can definitely question things. Harbaugh, Brown, Drevno, etc will definitely make bad play calls. I just hope that it's people questioning the play calling (and the refs) and not shitting on the best available coach at the time.
For those that say Urban and Saban (regardless of off-field tactics) aren't the two best in the game are either morons or nieve as a two year old
November 26th, 2016 at 5:15 PM ^
Hey man, I get it, we are all mad. I'm 40 and I was in my 20's the last time we beat Ohio State twice in a row. Hell, the last time we beat them was against an interim head coach...I don't even consider that a win.
If you want to be mad, be mad at the people that put Michigan into a tailspin for a DECADE. It is unpopular to name them, but I am not interested in protecting the people that should be held accountable for Michigan becoming a doormat to OSU, such Lloyd Carr, Dave Brandon, Rich Rodriguez, Brady Hoke just to name a few. Some carry more responsibility than others for our current state. At lease we have HOPE with Harbaugh.
November 26th, 2016 at 5:23 PM ^
I'm thirty-six. I am so tired of losing. I'm so tired of MIchigan making mistakes like Speight did. I just want an OSU team that comes out and screws up right and left. I feel like Michigan has done that for years. I just need time to wind down after this one.
November 26th, 2016 at 5:19 PM ^
I Wish I could down vote your mother for birthing you.
November 26th, 2016 at 6:24 PM ^
Michigan Mafia? Maybe youre just a teeny little bit paranoid. I hardly post, don't up or down vote much, but even I downvoted all his posts on this thread. Sometimes when everyone thinks you're wrong, you actually are.

I get down voted further for a making a rational argument using data. Good stuff, guys. I agree that darboh needs to make a catch and so does butt early. I agree they Speight made a terrible read on that second INT. I think the game was poorly officiated, but I can't quibble with the final spot as it was ruled that way live. Guys, Michigan was more talented this year and lost. It's okay to be admit that and be sad and angry. It's also okay to acknowledge that Meyer is not paid enough if he just beat the highest paid coach in FBD after losing almost his whole team. Settle down and bros.
November 26th, 2016 at 4:50 PM ^
you didn't substantiate your "more talent". Are you claiming there won't be as many players drafted off the Ohio State roster? Go ahead - make that case.
Or just troll, whatever
November 26th, 2016 at 5:08 PM ^
I am making the claim that Michgan has more talen this year, which is dependent upon the accepted knowledge that seniors are better than sophomores. Michigan, according to NFL draft gurus, have the most talent available in all of FBS. Yes, Ohio State may have more talent than Michigan overall. I can't predict how that talent will develop. However, it's a weak argument to imply that there is no difference between seniors and sophomores. Good day, sir.
November 26th, 2016 at 5:16 PM ^
Rational folks still think you are a douche!
November 26th, 2016 at 5:27 PM ^
Another intelligent arugment from the Michigan fan base. Way to engage with the argument and really come up with something meaningul to discount what I said. It's okay to disagree. It's not great to do with an utter lack of rationalty or intelligent arguments. No poltics and all but get it together fan base. I'm on this blog having a discussion, conceding points and acknowledging that I'm upset about the loss. The majority of the responses are troll level and are calling me a troll.
November 26th, 2016 at 6:03 PM ^
point.
PS - Just because YOU think YOUR comment is intelligent does not make it so.
November 26th, 2016 at 6:25 PM ^
But you need to include the wit part as well. That's the catch. If you find yourself agreeing with the mob saying douche rather then engaging with an actual argument then you are part of the problem. I've has reasonable debate with a few posters after this game. I wouldn't include your comments in the intelligent debate. Be careful of the echo chamber. You may just be agreeing with a group of fools.

You, sir, are an idiot.
Meyer made a horrible, stupid decision on the fake punt. That should have cost him the game.
Every other decision by either coach is debatable; none were game-changing IMO. We missed some opportunities, as did they.
It was a classic defensive battle. Michigan's defense played their asses off. So did OSU's.
Michigan was probably the better team, but OSU did miss 2 chip shot FG's.
Wilton Speight was courageous as hell, and made some great plays. He also turned the ball over 3 times.
An incredibly evenly played game was decided by officiating. That hurts.
November 26th, 2016 at 6:22 PM ^
He was not out coached. He won the game with the 127 out of 128 inexperienced teams. If you can't see that then I'm not sure what you can see.
