what to think right now. Either a close win or a notable beating. I can see Michigan winning like 21-16 or OSU winning like 34-14. I think those are the two most likely outcomes.

Whoever scores more points will win the game.

Unless we don't score more points, but we gain more yards.

Then they should change the rule after the fact to be based on yards gained.

It's not fair to base it on points, even if that's the rule when the game started, and has been the rule for 100 years.

all depends on Speight. I think we have enough pieces to win the national championship with a fully healthy team but without Newsome and Speight, it's really hurting us. I'd love to be wrong but I see 2013/2014 MSU as our game next week if O Korn plays.

My only thought is that against teams that had a defense, OSU has struggled: Indiana, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Northwestern.

Against teams with no defense, they dominated: BG, Oklahoma, Tulsa, Rutgers, and Maryland.

The two abberations are Nebraska (supposed defense) and MSU (no defense), where their performace—for various reasons—was inverted.

Michigan has a great defense. I certainly fear this game, but I don't see a bad outcome being anything like last year. I do see a defensive struggle. Michigan 17, OSU 13.

Michigan and Ohio State are basically the same team.  Both have excellent defenses, both offenses have struggled against good defenses, both have excellent coaches...only difference is Michigan lost their starting QB and the game is on the road.  Michigan is going to need a small handful of things to go their way to win this game.

I'm sorry (I Like Burgers) but you are kind of just throwing obvious shit out and playing it safe with it. Have you watched the buckeyes this year? Their defense isn't elite. They have been gashed by teams with descent running attacks like Wisconsin, Sharty and Penn State. If Speight plays, the deep ball threat is there and while Peppers is getting rotated in at half back or slot, you have a pretty dynamic and lethal offense right there. Penn State and Wisconsin don't come close to it. This game is in the books if the defense gets to Barrett early and gets their hits on him. That's all it's going to take. Just watch folks!

Keeping us in this game no matter what. OSU's offense has been proven to be human last few weeks and if the D can bottle up Barrett (which I think they can--better than any defense OSU has faced this year) then it comes down to O'Korn (or hopefully Speight) making plays. The run game has to show up and O'Korn has to make it happen without a lot of mistakes. Also think special teams could play a big role--and I like our prospects in that regard.

OSU has scored something like 63, 63 and 16/17 whatever they scored yesterday. As i've said all along - It comes down to which OSU team shows up next Saturday... The one that beat Oklahoma, Nebraska etc, or the one that struggled vs PSU, Wiscy, NW etc. We can beat one of the versions but the other may be the best team in college football. Weird shit going on with them.

With a healthy Wilton, we'd win. Without, nope. We just have the worst luck when it comes to the OSU game anymore. We seem to be missing key players every year against OSU.

Stop being a bitch. You think the team thinks like that? I sure hope not; because that attitude is some weak ass loser shit. You make your own luck. We have the best defense in the country. OSU hasn't seen anything close to it all year. And they've struggled (and lost) against some inferior Ds. Barrett and Samuel will feel the pain. This is the year. I expect Okorn to play well if he's in there; and I expect Speight to play well if he is. This Ohio team are not world beaters.
