OT -Hi Resolution Michigan Images - 300dpi or greater
I am looking for Michigan images, block M, players running on the field under the banner, action pictures, etc in 300dpi or greater for a project. I know most of these can be found with a quick Google search but the quality won't be great once blown up. Does anyone know where I can find and/or purchase hi-resolution images?
Thanks!

My comment isn't very helpful, but you'd need to specify what print size you are looking for. 300 dpi for a 4x6 is fairly easy to come by.

I was just told 300dpi, images will ultimately be blown up into a design for a trailer wrap

So you want images that are copyright free and that are about 20 MP.

if you are willing to pay, probably Getty Images is your best bet... or, you could try taking a stab and contacting the guys on this site who did the photo galleries for the MSU game on the site... chances are they'll have the original digital files for those galleries...which are probably super high res
Bryon Fuller and Patrick Barron
edit; i am sure they have a bunch of home game photos too

Wow, basically a neutral-site game.

Please tell me that's a Michigan fan trolling sparty because if that's a state fan...never mind, I shouldn't be surprised by anything I see out of that fan base.

The players tribune has some awesome images of game days which are high res. Besides that, the images on the front page are pretty good too

You can specify the size of the image you want to see... This is only the really high res photos.

If this was a Yahoo answer it would be the best one. You need to click on search tools and then size.

The images taken for this site are far and away the best I've found. Search MGoBlog on flickr. And they are kind enough to release the full-res versions to us, for free.
As always, hard to find anything better than what's on MGoBlog.

You can also download GIMP for free, and that will let you increase any photo to 300 dpi. I mean, you're not _really_ increasing the resolution, but it will get you a 300 dpi file that looks sharp in print (I've routinely upped 72 dpi to 300 dpi for print purposes, and it always looks fine to me).
