I may be in the minority, but I think we will surprise people this year. Our core players are back and we have some good freshman. I don't think we will win the B1G, but we are a tournament team.

KenPom has us as a preseason 31, so that matches those rankings pretty well.

I continue to be surprised that we don't end up with better recruiting classes than we do.  I know we aren't a blue blood basketball program, but we seem to be below a surprising number of teams.

Oh well -- just need to Win the Game!

With this year being "The Year of the Freshman" in College Basketball. There is going to be A LOT of upsets. Glad that we have a senior-laden team.

I believe former UCLA coach Jim Harrick had a decent run at Rhode Island a number of years ago.

Harrick got fired one year after winning the national title at UCLA for recruiting shenanigans and later booted at Georgia for a long list of NCAA violations. Odom got UNLV put on probation even though he never ended up going there. It was a match made in heaven that ended in the Elite Eight against Mark Madsen and Stanford.
