Its 5 Hours Until Game Time, And You Are Going to....

Submitted by xtramelanin on

Mates,

Reminiscent of Christmas morning for many of us, up since 0-dark-hundred and waiting for kick off.  Can't wait to open our 'gift' at noon.

So the question is:  What's on tap for you this a.m. between now and noon?   Work?  Workout?  Kids' stuff?  Coffee in your cup?  Hustling to EL?

Have a great morning.  Let's hope we are just as sky-high in 8 hours as we have been all week.  Go Blue and have a great weekend.

Dropping a deuce. Reading the WSJ. Showering. Waking up my 15 year old son. Driving to East Lansing and then cheering for my team with An Enthusiasm Unknown to Mankind.

Kids are with my inlaws so I have no parental responsibilities today. Going to go for a run, make some breakfast, and then meet up with friends where many beers will be consumed and many laughs at the expense of sparty will be had. Go blue!

Get some coffee brewing, wake the Mrs. up, hit the road to EL and high five every Wolverine I see in and around Spartan Stadium. I hope to see so much maize that I forget I'm not in Ann Arbor.

Going to put some miles on the bicycle as soon as the sun's up. Then make breakfast and hang out with our 3 kids until game time.

Getting out of bed as soon as I hit save. Vacuuming my house, running to town with my daughter to shop for food and Halloween supplies, and God willing make it back here by 11. God speed.

It's 7 PM where I am. About to take a nice long nap so I can actually stay awake to listen/try to watch/follow along into the wee hours of Sunday morning. Let's get it done today, guys. Go Blue!

In the car as well from Chicago. This will be my first away game experience and I'm heading in solo. Maybe I can find a nice friendly tailgate.

Like every Saturday since leaving the military.. Working and listening to the game on 950 AM radio while it DVRs. Then repetitively replaying the curb stomping that shall happen today. Possibly while touching myself.

Supposed to take an 8:30 train to DC to watch the game at a Michigan bar there. Plans just changed and now we're driving. So sleep more I guess.

Make a quick breakfast (eggs, sausage, and whole milk) then go outside to rake/blow leaves. Back inside by 11 to watch various talking heads predict the game.

Eating breakfast, then loading up the wife and one of the kids and heading to EL, meeting up with some Sparties and eating their food, then heading for the stadium to watch JH open up an extra large can of whoop ass.

Wife is away for weekend. Chili in the slow cooker, beer bread in oven, 7am hockey, 10am hockey, 11am soccer, then getting all three boys into their jerseys for the game.
