Jourdan Lewis cranky about MSU "That shit irritates me so much"

Submitted by Blue boy johnson on
Jourdan Lewis already in a foul mood regarding MSU. At end of players press conference, Lewis leaned over and said to Chris Wormley "That shit irritates me so much", after numerous questions about The Punt, only 5th year seniors have beat MSU, how do you prepare for MSU, and so on and so forth. That is all.....until Saturday

Seriously though.

If last year went our way, there may be a chance that the team would maybe take this opponent just somewhat lightly.

There's 0 percent chance of that now. We're ready. And I'm sure the guys would play the game right now if they could.

I don't agree with WD's comment, but all coaches talk about one game at a time and all that. I don't care how laser focused Harbaugh is, when you have a team of busy college kids, sometimes there will be letdowns. Hell, why do you think Colorado jumped on us so quickly? They were much better than we, and probably the team, expected.

Hopefully we load that stadium up with maize and smash them in the mouth. And then stomp on their throat. Then kick them a few times. I respect the need to win with character, but the cruelty will be so much more cathartic.

This quote was in a diary earlier this year:

"Break their hearts my pride and hope, break their hearts and have no mercy."

Miss Havisham knows how to hold a grudge.

Harbaugh is going to be overally complimentary about how hard they tried and will take it easy on them. More of an insult if you treat them like a game against Eastern Michigan. Where's the threat is the way to go. Will drive Dantonio crazy.

Exactly. I told the girlfriend yesterday that I don't necessarily want the 87-0 blowout. I'd rather have the comfortable 4-touchdown lead in the 4th quarter, and with the game well in hand, have the second teamers and walk-ons finish it out. Two reasons:

1. The unspoken message - "We didn't need our best for 60 minutes to beat the crap out of you" - would probably be a lot more galling to Coach Constipated Resting Face and his little green minions.

2. It'd be great to give guys who rarely see the field the memory of having played in The Great Green Ass Kicking of 2016.

Having said all that, an 87-0 blowout wouldn't break my heart, either.

Now, that I'll disagree slightly on. They'll be getting Michigan's best shot, but they won't be getting their first stringers. There's no such thing as garbage time for any of these players, except for maybe 1st and 10 with under 2:00 in the 4th, and they all play hard -- even on 3rd string.

That botched punt will go down as the zenith of this wretched era of Spartan relevance. They can cling to that moment for a generation whilst we look forward to each coming season and the promise of great things. I'm over it.

We owe them a few stompings as they had zero class and zero regard when we sucked. Bo and Carr made it a point to score fast and often early in E.L.

Bo's and Lloyd's teams never scored so much, or so fast, as this Harbaugh team scores.  Except for the start against Colorado, Michigan has been out to HUGE leads early.  Real early.

Sparty's 'will' will be broken quickly...

Edit - And UW.  UW has a legitimately legit defense.  (MSU does not...)

is the exception that proves the rule. UofM 49, MSU 3. That's what I'm hoping for this Saturday, but I'll take any score that results in a Michigan victory.

P.S. Do the dipshits at RCMB not realize that if they call us Meatchicken that makes them Meatchicken State?
