An NPR correction: Wolverines/Michigan/mascots

Submitted by Section 1 on
There was this story on NPR's All Things Considered, about a lone Wolverine, found in Northern California: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=124533254 Which led to this on-air correction, the next day: http://www.npr.org/templates/player/mediaPlayer.html?action=1&t=1&islis… Personally, I like the idea of donating to the Wolverine Foundation. I encourage my fellow Wolverines to do so. What a great statement it would be, to get some money going from Ann Arbor to the Wolverine Foundation. Sure beats the shit out of any National Buckeye Foundation. The Wolverine Foundation (great hats!): www.wolverinefoundation.org

Technically, I guess they were right the first time. Since the 1930s we've used an invisible mascot at football games. Some say he is visible only to Tacopants.
