An NPR correction: Wolverines/Michigan/mascots
There was this story on NPR's All Things Considered, about a lone Wolverine, found in Northern California:

Personally, I like the idea of donating to the Wolverine Foundation. I encourage my fellow Wolverines to do so. What a great statement it would be, to get some money going from Ann Arbor to the Wolverine Foundation. Sure beats the shit out of any National Buckeye Foundation.

Technically, I guess they were right the first time. Since the 1930s we've used an invisible mascot at football games. Some say he is visible only to Tacopants.

...they come clean when they make an error. Quite different than the way newspapers bury their corrections (or lack thereof).
and the DVD "Wandering with Wolverines" was available for purchase... who knew they'd be the distributor of the 2009 Men's Basketball team highlight video?
But they definitely need one in Maize and Blue!
