I can't help but wonder if you took that same design and removed Jumpman and put the Adidas stripes on there somewhere if people would feel the same way.   To my aging eye they are extremely busy and are a jarring contrast to the simplicity and, dare I say it, elegance of the new BB jersey's themselves.

Me no likey.

Adidas Ultraboosts and Yeezys are pretty much the two most popular shoes right now. Michigan fans hated Adidas because of nostalgia and the shit alternate jerseys made of especially shit materials. Not because their shoes aren't trendy.

That's definitely a part of it, but I also think the Jordan/Nike logo does actually look sleeker than other logos. Here's a post about Klay Thompson's signature shoe from Chinese company Anta. People were sort of hating on them, but it was interesting to see how people reacted with different logos

I'm offering my completely unsolicited and worthless opinion on the shoes - that's all.  And it was in response to the vast majority of posts prior to mine practically having the vapors over how insanely gorgeous these shoes are which I personally don't see.

Complaining would be me saying shit like "why start this apparel thread WD?". Or "Why cant they just wear god damn Converse All Stars like the good old days."  This isnt a complaint at all.

There's one thing wrong with these shoes that's incorrect with the new branding standards set by Nike for us.

Anyone wanna guess?

There was a white pair posted a couple days ago on either the Basketball or Equipment Twitter account. They are GORGEOUS, but the tweet must've been deleted since then. I'll try to find them again.

EDIT: Found. These will look great with the white uniforms!

It doesn't take a lot of chutzpah to use Yiddish terms when you're kibbitzing with your friends.  As someone who considers himself to be a mentsch, nothing would make me kvell more than to know that a nice gentile like you was using our language when he schmoozes with all of the beautiful blond shiksas out there.
