Wife Day Activities?!

Submitted by gobluepenn6 on
Today the wife has me going to the apple orchard for apple picking, donuts and cider. Followed by dinner and a movie. Maybe an afternoon game on tv during the nap.... one can hope. What you got?

is currently working at the hospital until about 7:30pm, so the kids and I will be cleaning the chicken coop, going to REI, swinging by the library, going to church small group meeting (bible study and potluck dinner), flipping between the Cubs and Ohio state/ Wisconsin, and putting the kids to bed. full day.

Building a trail on my property and feeling the sun shine into my soul.  This is indeed a spectacular state.  I obtain great wealth here even if not measured in (USD).  I love October.  I love it all.

Many mid-westerners agree folks...many.  I mention this only because you are my favorite type.  Go Blue.

Car repairs early, then watching Nebraska-IU with neighbor who is insane Husker fan with three big screen TVs in his living room, followed by Wisconsin upset of OSU. Insane Nebraska fan's hot wife puts on a big feed during games, so there will be a workout squeezed in there somewhere today. At end of day, I will go to the emergency room for treatment of seizures resulting from watching three big-screen TVs for hours on end.

Wife lined it up for a date night. Maybe I'll end up being proven wrong but, currently, my impression is that it will be a night of sitting in metal folding chairs and forcing a few "oohs" while adults do their version of a kids' gymnastics class but in bright colored costumes. No alcohol.

Mari Vineyard...looks like an old world (Italy) mansion...great view and atmosphere on the porch if it's not too cold....but they do have a fire place out there.

The owner put a butt load of money into that place.  He spent three summers just reshaping the land.

FYI: He is one of the brothers on the History Channel show "The Curse of Oak Island"... reality show about two brothers searching for a supposed buried treasure on an island off the coast of Canada.

Second year in a row my wife is at a national conference during the bye week. Spent the morning playing in the Arb with the dog and now we're both settling in for a nap.

No need to worry, we took care of the requisite Apple picking last weekend.
