1988 Bo on Kelly & Company
From pre-season 1988. Bo looks very relaxed on the Detroit version of Regis & Kelly, especially after almost being thrown out of the back seat of the convertible Mustang at the beginning. Of course there is an audience question about Jim Harbaugh. Also love the Bartles & Jaymes-like commercial for Michigan Replay by Bo & Brandy!

I have many memories of watching Kelly & Company (RIP John Kelly, who died recently), but I didn't remember this appearance by Bo. Thanks for sharing this.
That was on for 17 years, and that intro was pretty distinctive with its flute /piccolo sound.

Kelly & Company brings back some memories.
That being said... I say this as someone who was alive for a good chunk of it, but man, watching these clips... The 80s were just weird. "I know! Let's put Bo in the back of a convertible and have it drive full speed up to the set!"

There are so many things wrong about that video.

In the last video, Bo says: "We've talked about putting boxes in across from the press box on the east side of the stadium, but that's down the line. I don't think we'll be doing that right away."
It would be another two decades.

"I didn't cheer, but I was for the Big Ten team, regardless." - Bo on the 1988 Rose Bowl game where MSU beat USC.
I do not have this man's courage.

Msu wasn't as obnoxious or as insufferable back then like they are today.

During/after the 1987 season? I'd say they were.

'87 season. They had Lorenzo White and Andre Rison. Ohio was in a tailspin and Michigan had lost most of their offense.
