how about Herbstreit stating we are not in Louisville's league

Submitted by Butch-dontcall… on

Can someone ask KIrk Herbstreit if we are still not in the same league as Louisville? They just barely got buy Duke in Louisville. Also i am getting tired of the osu slappies on the B1G network.... Sorry , first post, just venting and -- had a few cocktails and not getting up early to tailgate tomorrow!

lol if he states one opinion that is anti-Michigan you're going to call him a homer.

It's his opinion...opinions are like...

He's been pro-Michigan a number of times, no one on here complains then, but OSU fans rake him over the coals.

Fans gonna Fan, I suppose.

He's paid to give an opinion, not paid to give an opinion you agree with 100% of the time. Who gives a shit what Herbstreit think, is he part of the CFB Playoff Committee or something that has influence over our team? No.

So his opinion? It's worth exactly the same as yours or mine. Which is:

But did you just compare my opinion with a roll of.....OSU wipe. I will have you know that I value my opinion more than, that. it's more like, um I don;t know. I am however going to complain to this establishment until you are sacked.

I would hope the quote would be in the locker room, with Herbie being an OSU alum and all that.   it has always seemed that the one intangible both MSU and OSU have always had on their side during the rivlary games is thair hatred of Michigan.

I'm not into hate on any level deeper than sports kayfabe, but I have always felt Michigan could use a bit more motivation when facing both MSU and OSU.  The "chip on the shoulder"  and "us against the world" angles make great motivation.

Bottom line: put Herbie's quote up on the wall along with any others and use them all for any extra "edge" they might provide.

Yeah, and I saw an article saying they "outlast[ed]" Duke. As if that weren't a really terrible sign for a high powered Heisman spread offense herp derp machine juggernaut
