Can someone ask KIrk Herbstreit if we are still not in the same league as Louisville? They just barely got buy Duke in Louisville. Also i am getting tired of the osu slappies on the B1G network.... I do. Fuck Herbstreit. He's a homer. I used to like his announcing better than the other guys but his quality is taking a nose dive.

Yes. I think it was because of the tattoo fiasco in Columbus. He was somewhat criticle of the Buckeyes, and was basically driven out of town.

I thought that was a result of saying Pryor shouldn't have been on the team after the Tat 5 incident that led to Tressel's show cause. I didn't think that had anything to do with any sort of track record of going against his fan base.

I would hope the quote would be in the locker room, with Herbie being an OSU alum and all that. it has always seemed that the one intangible both MSU and OSU have always had on their side during the rivlary games is thair hatred of Michigan.
I'm not into hate on any level deeper than sports kayfabe, but I have always felt Michigan could use a bit more motivation when facing both MSU and OSU. The "chip on the shoulder" and "us against the world" angles make great motivation.
Bottom line: put Herbie's quote up on the wall along with any others and use them all for any extra "edge" they might provide.
