Former player updates
I am so glad that we are just a few days from the start of OUR OWN spring practice, and we know how Toney Clemons is doing at Colorado. McGuffie, I am OK with, because he was a good kid who clearly needed to go home, but this has been about the third story I have read about Clemons lately. I assume a Justin Boren article is coming in the next few days?

Good to hear McGuffie has found a place that will work for him. I still think he could have been a huge impact player if he'd been able to redshirt, but RR needed to get the playmakers on the field as soon as possible.
Since practice-gate I've really lost a lot of respect for Clemons and this article didn't exactly make my feelings change at all.
As was stated by others I do feel for McGuffie he was a good kid who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was perfect for us but was forced in too early.
Do we know if Steven Threet will be challenging for a starting spot? I would assume "situational arm punter" is not an open position at ASU, so I was of course referring to QB. Anyone know if he is anywhere near seeing the field this year?
He was definitely in the running and even the favorite to some people. ASU has three guys competing for a wide open job I believe. I don't have a link as I read this a few weeks ago at least.
Yeah Erickson has been extremely positive of Threet so far.. he talked about him on the scout team last year and challenging for the starting spot this year as well.
Maybe we should start scheduling Colorado again like in the 90's so we can give Clemons the ass-pounding he deserves.
"Give Clemons the ass-pounding he deserves."
Tobias? There's gotta be a better way to say that.
I want Mike Martin to sodomize him. Is that wrong?
yes? haha
Mike Martin might have a problem with that.
I'd rather we solve our problems without surprise buttsecks.
not if they're in a loving and healthy relationship together and it's consensual.
any arrested development reference deserves a +1, well played sir.
