The price mark up is amazing when you slap on Nike and college logos.
October 3rd, 2016 at 4:37 PM ^
$26 for the football season shirt is ridiculous...
October 3rd, 2016 at 5:06 PM ^
How much was it before? We got them free as students so this is the 1st year I actually bought one.
October 3rd, 2016 at 7:49 PM ^
They were $15 in 2014 I believe. Unless the next person says it was different. In that case, believe them.
October 3rd, 2016 at 7:53 PM ^
This year's shirts are 10x the material of anything Adidas put out. I too was skeptical of how Nike/Jordan was any better than Adidas but the quality is outstanding. After 2-3 washes, anything Adidas brand starts to fade.
October 3rd, 2016 at 8:06 PM ^
I didn't say anything about the material, the guy asked for a price and I gave a price.
I, of course, agree with your assessment.

X = $

That blue shirt with the maize sleeves and pocket...yikes. I like the rest though.
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:40 PM ^
Same here. That's a very...interesting...look.
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:41 PM ^
Sleeve. Just one.

Maize sleeves would make it a little bit less weird than the single maize sleeve. Not really my cup of tea.
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:41 PM ^
If only I was Data from The Goonies...
Not that any of this stuff is remotely worth the price they're charging.
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:45 PM ^
Disappointed that this wasn't available this past weekend. They reveal the jerseys Friday, biggest home game of the year with tons of fans traveling back to AA, MDen was packed all weekend... and they release it on Monday?
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:46 PM ^
They don't have the jerseys yet. It's all pre-order now. Won't until 17th.
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:05 PM ^
Right, well it would've been nice to be able to buy them Saturday :/
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:07 PM ^
Tell me about it. I'm heading to the Hockey season opener on Friday and planned on getting all my Basketball and Hockey gear.
Now I gotta get Basketball some other time when they get the jerseys.
Also: DON'T buy anything Nike/Jordan without trying it on first. The sizes vary, and most of the gear runs small.
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:30 PM ^
It doesn't run small..most of it is just athletic cut. Meaning, fat guys will feel uncomfortable in it.
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:39 PM ^
It does run small. Look at the sizing meters on the MDen site for products.
I bought XL shorts Saturday and they don't even go below my knees. I have another pair of Jordan shorts in XL that do cover them.
Football jerseys in XL, I could barely get my head through the neck. Way too tight.
It varies.
October 3rd, 2016 at 4:18 PM ^
Don't have such a big head.
And please stop upvoting yourself.
October 3rd, 2016 at 4:35 PM ^
Lol... he kinda walked into this one...
October 3rd, 2016 at 5:45 PM ^
I guess he and his alter-ego have now both logged in to up vote him and down vote you. Let's see how many personalitites he has...
October 3rd, 2016 at 4:56 PM ^
Are you sure it isn't the style? It's not the early 2000's anymore, super duper baggy shorts that fall past the knee aren't really in fashion anymore
October 3rd, 2016 at 5:23 PM ^
George Costanza, that's who. Step 9, WD, Step 9!
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:47 PM ^
At least some of this stuff was on MDen on Friday immediately following the event.
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:45 PM ^
game uni. Focusing solely on the positive. : )
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:53 PM ^
I wish someone could explain the design decision on that first t-shirt with the goofy overlapped and crooked lettering--let's make it look like the screen printer messed up!
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:01 PM ^
it provides a dynamic graphical element, making it appear to be in motion, aligning to the tagline of how Michigan basketball "never stops."
(I don't know, I made that up but makes sense to me! I'd go into marketing if I didn't hate it so much)
The thing that annoys me is the little Jordan logo running around all over the different shirts. Left shoulder, right shoulder, pocket, side of the arm... Probably more annoying because I'm just seeing all these items in quick succession rather than as one-offs.
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:54 PM ^
was Saturday...
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:55 PM ^
This was out Saturday, you are slacking
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:56 PM ^
Um, OK.
October 3rd, 2016 at 2:59 PM ^
Unis look nice. Price is irrelevant on those specialty items since I never buy them. I'm strictly a T-shirt and sweatshirt guy, so $26-$28 for t-shirts?! Nope.
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:07 PM ^
Not sure how these hold up, but if they're good shirts I don't get this take. But buying 2 shirts for $50-60 isn't some insane investment if they do fit well and last.
If you get the, uhm, bootleg varieties for $15 or whatever you think is reasonable for a shirt they probably shrink and wear down in a flash.
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:08 PM ^
$50-60 for two t-shirts? Does it make me coffee and deliver it to my bed in the morning?
I'm in the strictly Steve & Barry's (RIP) camp for Michigan tees--give me that 5-for-$20 basic MICHIGAN and I'm good.
October 3rd, 2016 at 5:06 PM ^
No argument with you on the premise of quality shirts lasting longer are worth the investment compared to $5 shirts that turn into vapor after the second washing. I'm just not the type to throw down $30 on a glorified t-shirt with a swoosh.
This is all irrelevant to me anyway. I'm the dude who buys the close-out gray t-shirts. Gray Michigan t-shirts never go out of style and definitely don't cost $30.
Like Bando above, I was a huge Steve and Barry's fan. I still have some S&B shirts in my drawer from, what, 10+ years ago. And they're gray.

Can we get some non-drifit options for us fat people?

I've got two of the football polos, and the one WD listed above looks sweet, but the super clingy material is just anxiety inducing.
Also I don't know where the "Jordan sizes run small" thing comes from - both polos I have are Smalls and they come down to nearly my knees.
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:29 PM ^
Yes please. I have been checking out football jerseys at the games and it looks like a 3xl is equivalent to an adidas xl.

I really wonder what the curve is for the price of these things. I just keep thinking they'd make way more money if these were priced at $20 for the t-shirts. I know I'd buy one or two.
October 3rd, 2016 at 5:08 PM ^
Nice. Simple. Inexpensive.
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:03 PM ^
Are we going to get any Michigan-specific shirts? "__________ Basketball Never Stops" is a generic Nike template.
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:17 PM ^
on sculpted teenagers. Still, unis look great.
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:23 PM ^
During art fair.
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:26 PM ^
That Jumpman polo looks way better than the football version, might actually get that. And I like the unis, but no one who is not playing basketball looks good in a basketball jersey.
Otherwise this is all pretty meh.

Where is it though? Can't find it on MDen site
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:36 PM ^
Not at MDen just yet, but FansEdge has them.
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:40 PM ^
The only one I could really see myself buying is the shooting shirt. Nike basketball jerseys are like $50 more expensive than Adidas. Why is that?
October 3rd, 2016 at 3:43 PM ^
............because the designs are superior and the brand is something people actually want to wear as opposed to
