Has all the intangibles to now be a contributing NFL receiver. Yeah, I'd take that too.

There is nothing they have in common other than the TE to WR thing.

Hugh Grant rom coms. And both are avid Magic: The Gathering players.

Really looking forward to seeing this kid on the field. Hopefully this year at some point.

Perfect redzone target.

like Tebow?
September 28th, 2016 at 6:13 PM ^
It's weird to think that this time a year ago, I thought Gentry and O'Korn would be battling all season long for the starting QB job, and that Gentry would be looking like the next Andrew Luck.
September 28th, 2016 at 6:15 PM ^
I want to see what this guy can do. He wouldn't have stuck around if the coaches didn't intend to use him. Maybe some awesome trick plays vs MSU?
September 29th, 2016 at 1:57 AM ^
If the coaches intend to use him he probably would have seen the field before McKeon.

If I recall, he looked mobile for a QB in his HS highlights, but I did not expect him to end up at WR

redzone monster
September 28th, 2016 at 6:30 PM ^
Mark Andrews instantly comes to mind, also a WR/TE tweener.
If Gentry can become Andrews or those behemoth WRs BYU had last year...we're in luck.
September 28th, 2016 at 6:31 PM ^
I'm really interested in what this kid is going to do. Can't wait to see him on the field.
September 28th, 2016 at 6:32 PM ^
Our MGoInsider UMsomething11 or whatever it is shared this info days ago.
blue11? big11?
September 28th, 2016 at 6:47 PM ^
He is progressing very well. His size and speed have created some serious mismatches. He doesn't have the frame to play TE in the B1G.
September 28th, 2016 at 7:55 PM ^
Yet? Or ever?
September 28th, 2016 at 7:58 PM ^
Who knows what will happen during the off season.
September 28th, 2016 at 10:01 PM ^
You think his weight is currently?
September 29th, 2016 at 10:49 AM ^
Ian Bunting came in at 6 foot 7 and 227 pounds and was up to 243 as a sophomore. Are you saying that Bunting doesn't have a frame that is adequate for the B1G?
September 28th, 2016 at 6:35 PM ^
It's probably been discussed already.I fully expect a blocked field goal from Gentry this year. He looked poised to do so against Colorado.
September 28th, 2016 at 6:45 PM ^
He WILL be a big time player for Michigan.
September 28th, 2016 at 6:56 PM ^
at wr or TE ?
September 28th, 2016 at 7:02 PM ^
He ran for over 1,000 yards as a QB. Really wish he could be our 18-wheeler (i.e., Texas' Tyrone Swoops) but I guess that isn't in the cards.
September 28th, 2016 at 7:09 PM ^
he is not a small dude.
September 28th, 2016 at 7:22 PM ^
he is not a small dude."
not in size, but consider Zach ran a 4.7 forty and Wilton is probably going to outpace Kalis by maybe a couple of yards in the forty, and there you have it.
September 28th, 2016 at 6:54 PM ^
I really hope Gentry sees the field. It seems like he's gotten lost in the shuffle. Some kids would have transfered by now. 3 postion changes and he's still hanging in there...
September 28th, 2016 at 7:27 PM ^
is that what you would have done?
September 28th, 2016 at 7:39 PM ^
he's a redshirt freshman. this happens to find a person's best spot
